1. Add a "lost items due to bugs" petition. 2. Apologise for the code that made peple lose things when you said it would work a different way.
I cannot bail out of the game because of commitment to my corp.. All I ask for is for you to live up to your promises and the excpectations I can have expected likely to have had upon purchase of the game.
You¦re probaly not even reading this, but Im posting it anyway as an act of good faith.
This is getting silly.. :/
Flamers - please flame away to make me feel even worse about the state of the game.
After all.. you¦re doing it to help other people, right?

Bugs don't get fixed overnight. Try looking at the progress they are making in lieu of the progress they are not making. You'll see some pretty good things.

As long as CCP keeps trying to fix bugs I'll keep playing...until I get bored :P
And for the PPL that say CCP doesn't listen. This is the only game I've ever been in that I've talked to a dev ( a few times ) about the game. Most games you never hear a peep out of them.

Heres something interesting from DAoC, check out the DAoC Herald.
From Sanya Thomas on the Herald: The following is the first of possibly several patches, so keep your eyes on the Herald! A brief reminder: If you've had any losses due to bugs, please appeal. It may take several days for us to fully investigate, read logs, and verify the particulars, but if we can verify that you've lost something due to a bug, we will replace it - as we have already done for those whose investigations are complete.
Nice to see that some companies stand up to the plate and actually do something about lost items because of bugs.

Wow this is a stupid thread.
And somebody complimenting Mythic-ROFL. They are THE MOST incompetent company that there has EVER BEEN. They don't replace lost items due to bugs or follow through on any of their other promises. They are absolutely a thousand times worse in every way than CCP. CCP is a hall of gods compared to the idiots at Mythic. ___________________________________________

Well what ever.. I actually played DAoC for awhile with my step son and it was ok. The 4 petitions I had were answered in like an hour time frame, never lost an item due to bugs and generally the game worked. The Herald does a fair job at keeping you up to date at whats going on. Tho I don't care for changing of spell's etc they do all the time.
I could go on about how its now day 5 and still havent gotten my problem resolved. How I get passed from one GM to Dev and wait another day. How the total feel of the game has change how many times now from release ? List goes on and on..
What the point of that was that they at least say they will look at lost items due to bugs instead of here, to bad so sorry..

At both these points, there are no reson for CCP to do anything.
This, since you youre self has agreed and stated, by signing a contract, that you shouldnt ever have anything back, or in any way should be compensated for anything that is lost through a bug.
If we get lucky, we maybe can get an appologise though, but we arent entiteld to such, due to us signing the EULA.

perhaps It's just me that reads the news and the dev blogs, but I'm pretty sure that an apology has been made, and that they are asking for petitions to be made to get back lost stuff, which will take some time (as could be expected).
Of course, I may have missed the point of the whole post. If so, sorry. .

The reimbursement policy in EVE and, more importantly, the tools available to the GMs to verify and provide reimbursement are rather disgustingly pitiful, IMO.

My point being, that CCP, and all players signing the EULA (which incidentaly is ALL players) has agreed upon that the reimbursement policy should be, that no reimbursement should be granted.

Setec,
What you say "They don't replace lost items due to bugs or follow through on any of their other promises."
Not true in all cases. I and my corp mates have had several instances where CCP has returned losts ships and and items due to bugs.
I think asking them professionally and appropriately after explaining to them what happened has been significant for us.
I have been involved with many games and CCP is doing well for such a large and complex game.
