I see epic shitposts abouts why hi-sec sucks and why null-sec sucks. I actually like both places, what actually sucks is low sec. I don't have any reasons really other than its a large area where people can kill me, that has no definable home field advantage. null sec is fun because you are venturing into another group of players' space and starting havok, or they came to yours and, brb need my insta-lock-kill-mail-whoretoinfinty dram, group pvp vengeance style geeeeemeondatmoooothfuuuckaaaa: they blew up my nemesis. Which is fun to me, maybe i'm a doucher, w/e thy word hath been divined. |

Low sec is the front lines of a massive inter-galactic war.
Sounds like it's working perfectly if you feel like you're there just to be shot at.
Would it help if everyone was roleplaying their parts in the story more clearly?
Live content in low sec, which it seems CCP has been putting some focus on, is really what I think low sec needs. A visible storyline that is delivered by GM's and devs, but driven by the players actions, would help people to understand better what is happening in low and why it is there.
It would be nice if they could incorporate some industrial stuff into the live content. Like the devs and GM's defending mining operations, or supply routes. If it tied into the whole low sec sov thingy-ma-bob that would be even better; that way people are rewarded for "playing their role" appropriately. Red vs Blue vs Pirate.
I believe that developer narrative is a key in low. |

We need to break up low sec and surround it with hi sec systems and islands of null. That way pirates will have to risk flying through hi sec to get to the next low sec area. Not that terrible if you consider it right and realize he's saying the truth.
