This might have something to do with the fact that we spend more time pvping and our main focus is pvp. So it's safe to assume that we know more about it and understand the system better than people who only spend some time doing pvp. We know the system must stay this way to keep the game working, this is why the devs are "on our side". Just because you have the "majority" doesn't mean you know anything.

this idea would make empire wars almost totally useless. The point of empire wars is to be able to FINANCIALLY impact your enemy by shutting down their production. If they can't build stuff, they can't fight.
As an industrialist you are a HIGHER PRIORITY target than a combatant for a very good reason. You should not get protection from anyone but your corp.
BTW the fee corps pay for a corp war is to get concord to look the other way while they blow each other up.

Looks like stain has recruited a quality member in you, I'm sure you are contributing tons to their wars with Smite and FA by sitting in .5+.
And zaqq is probably the stupidest alt I've ever seen, this is 2 straight threads I've read of him being an idiot.

Bad idea, especailly the "even if at war" part.
Having said that, supplemental insurance that only applies in 0.5+, and only applies against other players whom you are NOT at war with, and only applies if you are not criminally flagged, might be a good idea.
This would make suicide alt attacks less painful, especially if you have a cheap kit.
But, if someone takes the effort to actually declare war, the supplemental insurance would do nothing.

never stated i wasn't stupid did i, what is this rubbish, most of you have safe empire corps building and mining to finance your #cough# wars. if it was solely down to the waring corps to do it all, your pvping would die in a week, so leave off slagging the carebears.
we play 2 different gamestyles in eve, what makes you think you are qualified to rubbish me, cos i don't play eve your way?

We feel qualified because:
-You can't back up your point of view with logic.
-You flame and act immature, which is annoying.
-You are trying to destroy our style of play, where as we arn't trying to do anything to yours.
-Your ideas hurt your style almost us much as ours.
-You seperate eve into 2 different styles, which is far to "white and black" for a game like this, in which the parts make one whole, not 2 sepearate ones.
So, it's not because you don't play our way. I have nothing agianst you until you start trying to force your way on us, and all of the above.

If the devs wanted any part of the game to be free of pvp combat, they would shard the damn server wouldn't they?
For all your talk of being an old character, you have just proved by your sheer inability to comprehend this game, that you are indeed not an old character and probably some reject from SWG or WoW.
