Wonder if he figured out these things aren't worth over 100% mark-up for some research. NPC value of each BPO:
Providence1,710,000,000
Charon1,800,000,000
Obelisk1,755,000,000
Fenrir1,665,000,000
and that's what I'll offer if you're interested. But 4.3bil for a 1.8bil BPO is absolutely insane, and you should feel bad. |

You do realize that a Charon BPO with all 5 skills, at a POS lab (burning fuel) will take almost 43 weeks (close to a year) to get to ME9?
That is almost a year that your 1.8 bil isk Blueprint investment will be sitting there cooking, unable to be used, copied or anything else.
And that is in a POS burning fuel every day. Add 25% to the time in a station slot.
You should feel bad for not realizing the kind of invesment that goes into BPO's of this size. |

I've checked public contracts. And it does indeed look like the first 3 sold at the insane prices he listed at. I'm not just impressed. I'm astounded.
You're getting 127.8% profit return on investment in 43 weeks, giving you 175.5% profit per year. Normally researching BPOs only adds a few percent to the value per month, but this is unheard of. The cost/time of researching these up is next to nothing compared to the return on investment. In any event, bravo for such bold sales. If someone will take them then that's the market value. |

Or you could look at it as 58 mil per week. On the Charon, he made 2.5 bil profit over 43 weeks, while having 1.8 bil tied up for those 43 weeks. That is ignoring any other costs. Sure it's fully passive, but still that doesn't seem outrageous.
In my short stint trying BPO research last year, I was just doing easy stuff. I would buy Scourge Heavy Missile BPO's at 675,000, spend about a week researching them, and sell them on contract for 10mil. They sold like hotcakes. |
