I have been having lots of connection problems tonight. Speaking to some others with the same issue the common denominator was the ISP, Blueyonder.
I have spoken to the Blueyonder help desk but they could not help and suggested I check the situation out in the morning when 2nd line support people have access to better diagnosis equipment.
So if your having problems logging in and staying logged in and your ISP is blueyonder then your not alone. It maybe some maintanence work is taking place between blueyonder and the Eve server. If its still causing problems in the morning then please place a call, I will, but the more people that do the better.
I normally find blueyonder a reliable ISP, this is most unusual.
Good luck.

Hmm, I'm in a flatshare and I think the provider may be blueyonder.
Everything is normally perfect and I run 2 clients with no issues.
It felt like I was running them on a gameboy today though

Hmm, interesting, I also use Blueyonder and I've been having problems with lag on the servers and a really slow connection to the forums past day or so.

I'm on BY too and been lagging then suddenly losing connection. Your Miner II perfectly blows up in its mount, wrecking for 900000000 damage. |

By Sucks Dead Dogs D****. The status page when it is working, rarely show's up all the problems. Had many wierd and wonderfull things happen to my ships in Eve due to that I.S.P. But where i live, sadly the only other BB service is BTB. And tbh that isn't an option. Just resign yourself to the fact that their whole network, especially the areas who recieved BB first, are screwed.Oversubscription to vbr's and shoddy workmanship etc. Phone them up moan like hell and demand a free months subbie. Meantime spin yer ship in the hangar...cuz thats all i've been able to do when my isp goes t1tsup.

Edited by: SPIONKOP on 22/05/2005 11:06:35 I been on for over an hour this morning before DT and had no problems.
I hope it was just some glitch which has now been sorted.
For you network technicians out there is there any useful information I can give to ISP support should this happen again so maybe they can investigate the link.

Seemed slightly bad when I first went on this morning but cleared up before DT, however it might reappear after DT and when the server numbers go up. Your Miner II perfectly blows up in its mount, wrecking for 900000000 damage. |

Power cycle your modem and reboot your computer before you blame your isp. It might just be an ID 10-T error resulting from end user error. Is BY cheaper than other BB providers in your area? Ah, well u get what you pay for.
