Hi all
Is it possible to move the HUD and the associated messages / icons to the left or right? I'm currently playing over two monitors and have managed to move most things (camera view, messages etc) to one side or the other, but the HUD is slap bang in the middle, so it's split by the bezels on the two monitors. This makes it damn hard to see what's disrupting me, what level my shields / armour are etc. |

Move mouse cursor to where you capacitor indicator in the HUD is located. Press and hold left mouse button. Move mouse sideways. When you're done moving, release left mouse button. |

The HUD you just grab by the capacitor and move it left or right.
The messages, though, are separate. You have to click the small horizonal bars at the bottom right of the HUD circle and "Enter moving mode for messages."
And finally if you want your ship to be centered on one monitor or the other, you can hit ESC to bring up the control panel, and under Display/Graphics you can move the camera center to the left or the right.
It's actually possible to have your ship with hud and messages on one screen and all your windows in the other screen. |

Yup, this is the way I finally managed to sort things. The HUD and module icons are on the right screen, along with my ship and targeting etc. It's a vast improvement over using just one monitor!
One thing you forgot to mention in the above is that when you move the camera under Display / Graphics settings, you should check the 'move UI with camera' checkbox (I forget the exact wording). This moves various other UI elements and messaging windows not controlled by the other options to be aligned with the new camera setting  |
