Fairly new to eve and brand new to dust. Curretly how can the beta interact with Eve? |

Well interaction will be limited to the singularity test server until launch, as to the current nature of the interaction I'm not going to discuss it here as it could be a breach of the NDA and I rather like my beta access. |

Currently, the most well known feature interaction between the two will be orbital bombardment.
Special ammo is already listed on the main eve server for hybrid and laser weapons. But only small ammo size for the likes of destroyers.
Also market interactions will be possible as the Eve market lists everything available in Dust.
Dust skills will allow you to make corps just like eve so eve players can be in dust corps and dusters can be in eve corps.
Dust is built to be expanded upon just like Eve. So expect the interaction list to grow.
Yet since its in beta and sisi is closed to eve player interaction. there is nothing going on in the terms of interaction between the two unless there are devs mucking about in space. |

I have also noticed the addition of "Infantry" in the Local chat channel, suggesting that DUST players will be able to communicate with EVE players directly and vice versa. |

Yes, this was the case when eve and dust players mingled on SiSi during local chat testing.
They show up in as docked at whatever station they are designated in.
They will show up on the eve map for # of docked players.
Since there is no moving from station to station yet in Dust, their station was chosen by their starter NPC corp. |

so exciting. when i remember to bring my ps3 back home i reaaaaaaally need to pop on sisi and play. imagine thousands of assholes like me. playing dust on the ps3 and doing a orbital bombardment on the pc. itll be awesome. |

Would you mind creating a thread on the DUST514 forum for those of us with access to that board? I've been searching far and wide and haven't seen a single thing on what long-time Eve'ers like me can do for my new character(s) in DUST.

Here are the interaction that have been listed and are planed outside of the NDA:
Corporations
GÇó You can join any Corporation in EVE Online or DUST 514
GÇó You can be a CEO or director of any Corporation in EVE Online or DUST 514.
(This mean that it is possible for a DUST 514 Corp to own Null sec SOV.)
GÇó You can accept members from both EVE Online and DUST 514 GÇó
Comunication
GÇó You will see EVE Online playersGÇÖ character names and portraits and vice versa
GÇó Strategize and fight together in real-time
Planets
GÇó Planets taken over by DUST Mercs will effect SOV Conquring in Faction Warfare (This feature is already in effect)
GÇó Orbital Bombardments allowing fire power from Space to the Planet
GÇó Sky Fire Batterys will allow Fire from the Planet to Space
GÇó Planitary Interaction will be effected by DUST in the future
Market
- Infantry Items have already been placed on the Market

Thanks for your post. I noticed yesterday that some items did appear to be seeded in the database, but none are available. I'm curious about EveO industrial production for my DUST toon(s) to avoid the isk payout every single time I die for every single item (apparently).

Make it a Tech II speciality, maybe, because that's what it is, right?! - A specialized ammo!
