Even with replay on max, it still seems Vvvvveeeeerrrrryyyy sssssssllllllooooowwww as far as text coming up =).

You made that with alot of patience but really :/ try it with another tool.. ( maybe screenshots like eve-tutor.com )

Maybe you could try using Flash, I work with it alot in my job and it is a great tool for stuff like that. Unfortunately it isn't freeware, but there are *ahem* ways a round that which I'm sure I don't need to go into. Anyway just a suggestion, great idea I think, keep it up.

At least with Star Wars Episode 2's DVD I could skip straight to the chapters where things blow up and Natalie Portman wears something skin tight. I'll wait for your abridged editions. :)

The information was good; i think many players who are not used to this kind of thing will find it very helpful.
Putting it in some other format would help a lot though, flash, making movies out of it, text with stills on a homepage or whatever.
A nice manual in PDF form would work too.
Good effort and hope you are not put off by all the negative comments.

You know, that is a good attempt. Really, but the folks here that visit these forums have been playing for 1+ years, have been known to associate with, or be a evil 0.0 pilot. And gerneally can fly rings around 3/4 of the players of EVE.
What area you are missing are the new people, the less the one year crowd, that pays no attention what so ever to these forums.
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter,pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.

BTW: some of that info is wrong. If you are in the middle of a cloak cycle you will not uncloak near a stargate or a station until the cycle is complete. Anything else will insta-uncloak you. So it is possible to travel past a gate cloaked in that time you arrive at 2100m lets say, cloak and start passing the gate. You are at 1000m from the gate and have 20 secs remaining ont he cloak cycle, you wont uncloak. Then you are 1500 past it and the cycle ends, then you will uncloak and not recloak because you are to close to an object.

I've always wondered why I didn't always uncloak near a station or a gate. Thanks for making that clear for me.
And yes, I will look into FLASH... since its cool and flashy.
I could make another website with just pics and text, maybe even a fraps example.
