i just trained cloak 4, and covert ops 1.
but i cant use the covert ops cloak why?

Ideally you need covert ops 3/4 to use the covert ops cloaking device on it.
If you read the description of the cloaking device it says it neads 3000 CPU and the ship only has about 300 ( top of head so feel free to correct me ) Special ability of covert ops ships is a reduction in the CPU needs of cloaking devices. hence the need for 3/4

Are you using it on a covert ops frig? they are the only ship whio can use them.

at covert ops level 1 you get a 92% bonus. So @ lvl 1 the cloak uses 400 cpu
Lvl 2- 300 cpu
lvl 3- 200 cpu
lvl 4- 100 cpu
lvl 5- 0 cpu
Just train up the skill more.

well that makes since you'd figure they would put in the discription need lvl x covert ops to use the cloak in the discription.. thanks.

Technically you don't, as long as you can get the cheetah's CPU over 400 you only need lvl 1 covert ops (not sure if it is possible with faction CPU enhancers, but the point stands).

the cloak fits NP, the problem is fitting a scan probe launcher and some other mods |

Get a buzzard...you can fit 1 Covert ops cloak, 1 scan probe launcher and 1 standard msl launcher in the highs, 1 ab, rock/ship/cargo scanner and a passive targeter in the mids and a cpu and a mapc in the lows and it is all online at the same time.

Not since the EW changes - vigil got some extra CPU taking it to 210 tf base, while the cheetah was left with 200 tf as before.
