I'm totally new to pvp, so i were adviced to start in a tackler!
but whch amarr shp to use and what setup!
1 mwd
2x scramblers? or is 1 enough?
And what about this setup:
Punisher - Tackler (0-20km tackler)
High: ---
Med: mwd, ruptor
Low: 4x cpr
and what else?!

If you want to be a dedicated tackler i whould advice you to train for a malediction but in the meantime you should train minmatar frigate lvl 2 to use the vigil, its cheap fast 3 mid and 3 low slots so you realy testing ceptors by piloting one.

Vigil for tackling in t1 frigs. Stiletto is the ³ber tackler of them all with 4 med slots. Otherwise every race has 1 tackler inty and 1 attack inty.

You might want to take a look at the Crucifier, which is the only T1 Amarrian frigate with three mid slots.

Punisher is wayyyy tooo slow to get anything done tackling wise.
Just train min frigate up to lvl 2 (like 3 hours or so of training.) and use a vigil, its fast, has 3 mids, and its... fast

:) not to get this sound wrong, but please do not post that i should go with another race, i'm pure amarr theme kinda, so i would like to use the amarr's ships :). so therefore please help me out here :).

train for ammar inty than. ammar is known for not having many medslots and all there frigs suck at tackling.
i would try incursus (yes, gallente) because thats the most deadly tech 1 frig out there.

The atron can kick it at speeds,also the tristan and incurses(mine can kick 2km+ easy) so you can run away... and 3 meds,2low,3 high mean you can tackle np

Tormentor - 1 mid slot - not good
Executioner - 1 mid slot - not good
Crucifier - 3 Mid slots - good tackler....can fit webber, scrambler, mwd or even 3 scramblers.
Punisher - 2 mid slots - can fit 1 scrambler, 1 mwd or 2 scramblers
Of these the Cruicifier is a superior tackler. However, the cruicifier lacks power grid and can't fit much in the way of fire power while handling tackling. But that's what your friends are for.....
Hoards of Carebears can really be quite scary. |
