i dont quite understand the speed bonus on the defenders... they allready go 3k/s
i prupose that it should be changed to a ROF bonus... or a damage bonus...

First off, wrong forum. Secondly, considering the fact that only torpedos take more than one defender, increasing their damage is pointless. A ROF bonus would have to do with the launcher and not the missile itself. The speed bonus lets your Defenders actually reach their target, thus allowing you to use more which means more missiles destroyed before they reach you.

Both torps and cruise take more than one. A damage bonus would be nice but the speed bonus is fine.

Some folks still say their own missiles get blown up on occasion. I rarely use defenders, except in PvE, and even then only with hybrids, so I don't know much about their more obscure capabilities. If it were the case that defenders took out one's own missiles, I personally would want them to go slow and offer higher RoF.]
If defenders could provide cover for other vessels, against targets that are not attacking oneself, then the speed bonus would be more understandable. Of course, the speed also helps one waste a few fewer defenders targetting the same missile multiple times I suppose. The permutations are rather varied, but are also going to become more difficult to track with the new missile speeds.
More damage, more missile hp, lower RoF is the key to less lag though it is probably not favored by missiles users. I don't think anyone is much concerned about the balance between defender dmg and missile hp at the present time. The parrots haven't caught wind of it yet I guess.
Speed bonus is also a distance bonus.. but.. yeah.

Cruise only take one to blow up. But defenders go after the closest missile :/
