Because stealing is funny, and laughing at people's misery is even funnier. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. "Can I be a consultant for EVE II?" - WhiteDwarf |

Due to funding shortages to the CCP arts department the tempest is one of the few ships with large gaps and holes within the hull. Players have dicovered many shots will pass thru these holes in this incompleted ship inflicting no damage and as such the ship has a slightly higher life expectancy in combat to this reduced damage.
(any excuse is better than no reason... )
The real reason is the tempest gives the highest damage in the first savo and in fleet ops the first savo is the most important. At least thats my understanding

Tempest candeal a lot of damage at long range, it means the pilot cany stay far out to escape damage from most ships while dealing massive damage to its target, i have never flown one, ugly ship if there ever was one, when I look at it i get the feeling that its a nice design, but implemented badly... The minmatars all ove?

They became uber again, now if only a hybrids used less cap in comparison to lasers it might be back to balanced. _ _ How many pilots does it take to wire a Flux Capacitor? 3, 1 to wire it and 2 to talk about how the old one was better. |
