Edited by: Ibobah''k Chisaraj on 27/05/2005 00:36:37 the roles that the user has in the corporation. This is a numerical value which is the sum of the values of the roles which you have within the corporation. The values for the individual roles are as follows (note that you can carry out a bitwise AND operation to see if a user has a particular role or not)
* 1 - Director * 128 - Personnel Manager * 256 - Accountant * 512 - Security Manager * 1024 - Factory Manager * 2048 - Station Manager * 4096 - Auditor * 8192 - Can take from division 1 hangar * 16384 - Can take from division 2 hangar * 32768 - Can take from division 3 hangar * 65536 - Can take from division 4 hangar * 131072 - Can take from division 5 hangar * 262144 - Can take from division 6 hangar * 524288 - Can take from division 7 hangar * 1048576 - Can query division 1 hangar * 2097152 - Can query division 2 hangar * 4194304 - Can query division 3 hangar * 8388608 - Can query division 4 hangar * 16777216 - Can query division 5 hangar * 33554432 - Can query division 6 hangar * 67108864 - Can query division 7 hangar * 134217728 - Can take from division 1 accounts * 268435456 - Can take from division 2 accounts * 536870912 - Can take from division 3 accounts * 1073741824 - Can take from division 4 accounts * 2147483648 - Can take from division 5 accounts * 4294967296 - Can take from division 6 accounts * 8589934592 - Can take from division 7 accounts * 17179869184 - Can query division 1 accounts * 34359738368 - Can query division 2 accounts * 68719476736 - Can query division 3 accounts * 137438953472 - Can query division 4 accounts * 274877906944 - Can query division 5 accounts * 549755813888 - Can query division 6 accounts * 1099511627776 - Can query division 7 accounts * 2199023255552 - Equipment config/Deploy space
Is this complete? No modifications been made to the eve headers during any of the last few patches?And how the heck do I perform a bitwise AND operation on this value from a visitor to the site to determine his corp roles? in VBScript preferrably....

in PHP it would look like:
if ($roles & (1<<$rulenum)) { // do something }
where $roles contains the roles variable of the HTTP header and rulenum is the number of the role you want to check (1,2,3,4,5,6)
I have no idea whether asp can do bit shift operations.

Edited by: Elgonis on 28/05/2005 00:13:02 The $_SERVER["HTTP_EVE_CORPROLE"] returns foobar values. For example for me returns "13512998039552000" which is way more than 2^42-1 (according to IGB documentation the max is sum of 2^0+2^1+...+2^41=2^42-1).
Is the HTTP_EVE_CORPROLE broken?

I believe the manual can be found here if I am not mistaken.

as far as i have seen if you dont have anythign coming out at the end the IGB dosent display orretly, make sure you have your <HTML><Body> and </Body></Html> Ingame website to help management

I did a function a while back that returns a "binary"-array. Unfortunatly it doesnt seem to work anymore, as ASP/VBScript cant handle the enormous numbers return by eve today.
If anyone can tell me how to handle a number as large as 9223372036854775807 in ASP/VBScript i would greatly apreciate it.
Function dbl2bin(x, size) 'x = Doublevalue 'size = The bit array size
'response.write x-( fix( x / 2 ) * 2 )
'Create binary array. Dim binArr() dim y
'Defines the size of the binArr, I use 64. 'Basically you can use 48 as there are only 48 known roles. redim binArr(size)
y = 0
'Runs a loop till the division of the corproles value hits below 1 Do 'If the corprole subtracted by its highest even-number, below the corprole value 'returns 1 or the corprole is 1 then it has the role. If x-( fix( x / 2 ) * 2 ) or x = 1 Then binArr(y) = "1" Else 'Or else it doesn't have the role, simply put. binArr(y) = "0" End If
'We now devide the corprole to an even-number for the next round. x = fix(x / 2)
'Just to clean the array later. y = y +1
If x < 1 Then Exit Do Loop
'Just cleaning the array. for y=y to size binArr(y) = "0" next
dbl2bin = binArr
End Function
Im have no idea what state of mind i was in when i figured this one out.. but it works. Worked that is.. |
