The Option Other in the petition section DOES NOT WORK. This sends you to the ASK a QUESTION section and the system allows you to enter a "QUESTION" Which of course NEVER gets answered. An automated responds was always the response in the past to these questions. Now its not even giving the auto responses. Clearly our monthly fee has been collected but the customer service has been slowly reduced.
In the past you could at least get a GM to help you. Never mind that in every single case EXCEPT the stuck characters. The gms have not fixed ANY of the petitions. They have always said that "sorry but we do NOT have any logs of what happend to you, sorry you're out of luck".
Gee guys WHY CAN'T YOU START LOGGING THEN?!?!
Now you can't even get a gm to talk to you. I guess thats because they can't help you! Keep in mind that the moment you start reducing your customer service is the moment your customer base is going to leave this game. No matter how bad the game gets, customer service could always help with the problems. Without any kind of response you are not giving your customers any kind of reassurance that your system even works. Please fix this.

Hey thats not 100% true. I got an answer back today after 5days waiting in the "other" queue.
Tho the message was to wait...

I am NEVER getting the answers from OTHER category after they changed the way it works. I simple getting errors 50% of times and 50% of times i simple get nothing...

the other section nolonger exists for petitions, it just sends you to a webpage now

Yes I have done about 11 OTHER petitions just for a skill bug that lost me 2 days of training. I emailed support since it wasn't working twice now and I haven't gotten a response for days.
CCP change it back and fix my character please ;).
I am really starting to think the support has gone down the tubes.
Oh well apparently they don't want our money..?

"Other" petitions do work, although there's probably a strong, um, filter.
I put one in on Friday and got a GM email reply sometime between then and Sunday evening (wasn't around during weekend).
The issue was resolved Monday, just as the GM told me it would be.
Nice to see some other people have also had positive experiences with "other" petitions--I was kinda skeptical when I saw the fun web page (worried it was a blow-off page :)

All of my petitions have been answered with 12 hours.
I think more considerate use of petitions would drastically improve the whole support experience - ask on forums FIRST, give it a few hours, then post a petition.

I have never had a GM respond to one of my "other" petitions but have always got the email reponse and answer from them.
You can see a list of all the "other" type petitions you have sent and a status if you go to support and then look at the "my stuff" tab.
