I graduated from STI yesterday afternoon, and was so full of hope and wonder about what the universe would offer. And then I ran into alt prejudice. 
Some slightly older STI people were discussing Morphite, their youthful voices full of awe. Now my sponsor understands well that Zydrine is a more certain path to mineral riches, being more common and in greater everyday demand. But no sooner had I imparted this knowledge, than I was confronted with the question of whether I am an alt.
Of course I am, but does this make me any less a human being? No-one would talk to me after that. My contributions went ignored. 
Later, I was passing through some of those scary orange systems, and people tried to kill me. I protested my innocence and modest means, after all, I clearly pose no threat and the money my sponsor kindly gives me, is surely too insignificant to be of interest to anyone. But still they spat the word alt, and other words that made me blush.
Please understand, alts are people too. We live, and love, and breathe just like you. We refine your ore for you, bring things to you, and even look after your corporations while you are away. Why be so cruel to us?
Perhaps a little understanding will go a long way.

My sponser hates me. He rarely lets me train any skills. He even wrote in my bio that he hates me. and is listed in his bio that he hates his alt.
why oh why do sponsers do that?
My alt hates me, I don't know why. he won't even talk to me anymore |

Best thing CCP could do is offer to move alts to new accounts for free and then kill of all alts.

alts have been abused so much (as spies, theives, greifing tools and so on) that most people simply don't and often can't afford to place any form of trust in them at all.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it... |

If an 'alt' is an alternate character, how would someone know, and why would he/she hate it? LOst.....

That's terrible! ::gives Fluffles and Abdalion and Fencer hugs:: People are so cruel, people who act that way should be killed by their own alts. My alt is really sweet and I love her and we spend lots of time together.
I actually have another alt too...but he's really creepy...I don't think he likes me...and he's kinda psycho...I found him a psychiatrist, but even the doc is kinda worried about him...

I have no complaints about my sponsor  but I find that others do not have the same appreciation of me. They do not see me as a human being, with feelings, the way He does. I wish people would be more considerate. |
