I'm currently running 'Enemies Abound, 3 of 5' level 4.
I locking, shooting and popping the enemy (with missiles and drones) and not one enemy ship has locked me or fought back, in any of the rooms.
Assume this is a bug and isn't an intentional change to recompense for my losing hundreds of drones since Retribution came out.
Anyone else seeing this with other missions? |

They are not shooting, locking, missing or anything. Just flying around, completely ignoring my presence. |

Sentry Guns are working, but no other AI is bothered to shoot back. Maybe they are all resigned to the fact that it's 12/12/2012 tmrw, so it matters not anyway. |

I can confirm this, me and a friend just ran enemies abound the last part and npcs became idiotic and didn't shoot back, it was like tags raining from the sky. |

Read the new short feedback thread regarding the AI tweak that was put out about a week ago. Note the highly detailed test feedback given by a couple people. Note the complete, and I do mean complete, LACK of acknowledgement of any issues by the dev's RE: the AI tweaks.
Then note the dev comments AFTER the new tweak was delivered onto TQ. Note that they have now gone on vacation, and no is tending the store for a while.
This is not speculation, nor a rant. Look at the chronology yourselves.
Then ask again, are you are surprised that the AI is broken?
CCP can SAY whatever they like about mission income, but their ACTIONS truly state what they feel about high sec income. |

I have seen this. After pulling my drones back inside my dominix after a few mission rats shot at them they stopped shooting me as well. They still had me locked, but every single mission rat quit shooting me. I had no drones out. I wear my sunglasses at night. |

Well, it is a bit of a nerf if you have to slowboat 90KM because you can't get any of the npcs to aggro. Love those missions where the last guy drops the item, and he won't leave his safe spot to come play.

Actually, this screwup likely helps mission runners.
But the fact that something this borked gets jammed onto TQ, with the devs responsible for it now on vacation, is just an indication of how seriously CCP treats the concerns of mission runners. 2-4 weeks from now, once people are back from vacation, CCP will get around to altering the AI for the 3rd time. Unless of course, the null sec camps starts screaming about easy high sec money, at which point this will get immediate dev attention. |

It's possible the, like incursions leading players to cooperate, missions are starting to mirror the template of other activities in the games.
Targets that don't shoot back is indication of the possibility that the mission is trying to teach you how to be the jamming boat of a typical gate camp.
