Maybe they are random and you randomly got two sets of identical gifts? Just trade the second set for the stuff you don't have, it's all roughly the same value anyway. |

i love how people think random events can't happen more than once in a row. if they couldn't they wouldn't be random.

It makes more sense if you look at it in terms of sets, but at first I thought it was a set of randomly chosen items, not a randomly chosen set of pre-picked items. Getting two of the exact same set in the former scheme is rather unlikely.

On a side note, I recall a story regarding the random shuffle on iPods having to be scripted to not be random. It seems true random is not random enough.

My point was even when we get a good random generator, the random part needs to be throttled back, to not be so random.

I didn't see a pattern based on who was skill training, the main or who took the gifts. I got the Amarr pack on a Matar alt for a Gallente main. The Minmatar pack on a Caldari main and so on. I found many of the commodities to be tied to their frigate but as stated, it's all good. Based on the stack of festival launchers I have, nothing they offered is out of reach.

It's too early to tell anything accurate but out of the gate, Heron seems to be shorting. Everything else is coming out in the same numbers. The sell bar seems longer with Imicus but they are the only ones with a unique high slot configuration. Dunno if that's helping them or hurting them. |

Come on people, realy you believe you are chosen one ? and you recive random stuf on every account? here a lot subscribers, its technicaly impossible to get full unique set of stuf per every account, in fact we got 250.000-350.000 subscribers, if you recive same gift like your main account its nothing wrong with this.
Some people got difirent sets on every account but some got items that reperat, nothing wrong with this.
Its because total amount of accounts.

Yes they can, just not with the standard math libraries. There's also special hardware solutions. But, I think we're going a bit off topic here..

I think it's sets too, rather than a random populated list. As to the previous poster who speculated that it might be account creation date, I can say it isn't :) I have 3 current accounts. My main got 1 set with a vherokior probe. The other 2 (one is an account from early 2006, the other is only about three months old) got the exact same sarum set, down to the "random" cards.
So yeah, OP, I'd say random "sets" rather than random "items".
