I've just returned from watching Star Wars 3 and it got me thinking about an EVE movie. I've no idea about plot other than the general backstory, but want to see if anyone has more thoughts?

i've been thinking about working up a storyline for a while now... and would probably end up making it into like a 20-30 minute video... but i think the main problem would be releasing such a large amount of content over the internet.
A full scale production of a featurelength movie would be a serious source of revenue for CCP but in the same token would be a big financial gamble.
I'd say, although it seems like a good idea, and there's definaltley enough backstory to create a movie, there's probably little chance of it ever happening...
unless someone is willing to prove me wrong.
Cameron, Spielberg, Lucas, Besson... if you're reading this... sort your arses out and get working

The only thing with an EVE movie would be that half the ships would log off during the battle scenes

If one of the big six studios picked up the rights to make a film it could be interesting. A Bladerunner-esc space themed blockbuster would be cool.

An Eve movie would be great
There's enough back-story, player stories/aliances/wotever etc to make a very enjoyable film, come on CCP, make a nice movie for all your player here, please, pretty please
