In the smaller BS fights, I believe we had a 7v8 or so, its been great. HOWEVER: Your post still fails to explain why you didn't jump in, during the hour BEFORE UCC left, when you, by your own admission, outnumbered us about 2-1. 5 jumped in on a PA fleet, that had 6 medium bubbles setup, while we were outnumbered. It was a lot of fun for all. I just guess I disagree with the whole robbing people of fun part of last night. And that was probably the last chance I'll have at fun for a while, as my account was hacked early this morning and I lost about 95% of my assets. But anyways in summary, respect to IRON, still no respect to G, and boo @ not being able to fight.

You will find that G is perfectly happy to commit their fleets to an engagement with even numbers - however only if the enemy fleet is equally commited to the engagement (i.e. there is either a way to get our tacklers near your fleet without all of them being slaughtered in the process or the fight is a short/mid range engagement).

That is simply the most ridiculous statement of the day. They didn't jumpin for whatever reason, thats their problem, why on earth are you guys obssesing about it? As far as I seen most people have as much respect for you as they have for something stuck in their teeth. So by that scale, your respect doesnt mean much. Plus whats this deal about your account. It sucks when taht happens and I fully sympathise with your dilemma, but I can't help but wonder if you brought that up in this thread so you could make people think that it was G/IRON/PA's doing. Having had the displeasure of leading fleets against G+allies before I sympathise with Bob+5. All G care about is "winning", even if it bores everyone to death. Even with 2:1 they refuse to jump in. I suspect the G fleet commanders work in the Insurance industry :) In summary, G do not play the game for fun like the rest of us, they are total lamers with no lives (staying up till 4am whilst camping a safespot). I will freely admit that they defeated FoE despite my best efforts... However none of this was down to actually winning equally matched fleet battles (something they have never experienced). When FoE first engaged the north we faced off G/IRON/PA as a whole and they refused to engage despite overwhelming numerical advantage, a clear pattern of behaviour. I do not blame PA (lamers) or IRON (good guys) for this as they were clearly under G command. What G fail to realise is that the entire rest of the PvP community think they are lame and thus seek their destruction. Their "lame4tw" strategy will be their downfall. Flame on...

As to smack, no point to it really. Perspective is everthing and I'm first to admit at times I wish the enemey would jump into our nice trap. That being said, I'm also enough of a realist to say to myself no way would I commit forces into this if I had it scouted. I've enjoyed the fights with BoB immensely in last few weeks. As always in fighting BNC/RKK and others I've picked up a few new tricks. To those trying to drive a wedge between G and IRON via this respect for IRON none for G comments, forget about it. All of us in IRON have way to much respect for G now that we've flown with them for this to work. When the chips are down, G has our back and we'll have G's in similiar circumstances. Let's get back to fighting and trying to keep it as smack free as possible in North. See you all in space.
