I was in the WH channel while I was unloading my WH, off lining my tower, well a friend was waiting until downtime, the msg on the WH said about to collapse in to ether, and meant it should only have a little bit left, well after downtime, it was still there when he warped away from the book mark and then back nothing happened, thought it may be an error, and that it was too old of a WH,
I told him to grow some balls and just go in real quick, grab the j number or the k-space location (he did know where it lead to, at least the original one) also the description had changed after downtime as well or shortly thereafter, the info now made it as having a lot more time.
well after about 2 or so more hours he said f it so he decided to jump thru,
I told him that it may jut be a new WH, he swore not possible, I said, there may be only 2500 or so WH's, but there also may only be so many "spots" where they open, or appear, and perhaps every so often one gets "reused"
that though is talking purely computer programming, as in computers NOTHING is truly random, RNG use algorithms to determine a number, or in this case "random" coordinates to which the server will spawn a WH. With enough time and or effort, or if you knew that algorithm you could theoretically begin to predict the location of a WH spawning.
So when he finally does go thru I see in chat "FUUUU" and I was like omg did it collapse haha
low and be hold it was actually a completely different WH, that was in the same location as another had been (verified via bookmark from before) YET it as an instant one, not that like a week later that book mark had a WH, but the next WH that spawned was at the same location lol.
what are the chances of that haha.
