Ok here's what you need to do (note: this only works for about 2 people in 3).
watch this video
and count exactly how many times the basketball is passed, look really carefully. THEN scroll down a bit.

I counted the number of passes, and saw the bloke in a monkeysuit all on my first viewing. I don't get it? What am I supposed to see?

And I noticed the gorilla lol. How couldn't one? Maybe it's a Retard Test. 
That said, the test would work MUCH better if there was only 1 Ball. With the 2 balls I had to keep switching my view side to side, I noticed the Gorilla as soon as he appeared off the right hand side. With 1 ball I would of focused my eyes permantaly on the ball, and maybe have possibly not noticed the Gorilla.

 oh well i'm guessing this didn't work as well as i though it would (none of my flatmates saw the gorilla the first time round)
i'll just have to find something better next time

How can you NOT see the gorilla, I mean he's RIGHT there in the middle of them all. I mean sure, it MIGHT work it there were only one ball so some people might lock onto the ball and block out everything else, but as long as you have to keep looking back and forth between the balls, it's going to let your brain recognize other objects, hence the gorilla is obvious as hell. Or maybe if he were just a LITTLE monkey instead of a big gorilla, or if he were way off in the background rather than in the middle...
