I for one am getting tired of doing this mission and watch the Ninja Looter Scum steal my loot while I'm fighting the NPCs. They sit there and immediately loot your can. They know that nothing will happen to them unless you want to loose your ship to Concord just to pod them. When is this problem going to be addressed and fixed!

I know its no soloution but I've just started blowing up all my cans on this mission, better to see it go boom than feed the scavengers.
I can see why they do it though all battleships I bet its the most profitable thing in eve right now just to sit at a gate picking up everyone's loot especially in the busy systems.

Wait till you get the Dread/Domi spawn or whatever corp you do it for.. The crowd is horrible.. Been in a raven i stay practicly 1-2KM away from the bs`s (Angels they like close range it seems :E), I Loot leavin 1 BS alive, so if an inty/frig comes along.. Warp away..

easy solution dont do missions in mission runner central I m having almost 25 agents of 1 corp in my system with rarely 10 people in local so never a problem.

I have the opposite problem - I cant get people to come and take the loot for free.
Empire loot is absurdly awful and not worth the time picking up. Seriously - are you really worried about losing that 100 thorium small and medium armor rep?
Anytime I do run missions in Empire I am more than happy for people to come and collect the loot for themselves if they want it - Rogue Drone 4 loot being the exception

Just the L Guns from the BS Cans refines good.. Ive had plenty of named L Guns from BS cans, always seem to get 1 L thing in every BS can nowdays..

Well, if they made it so the NPC's did agro and fire on random players in a certain radius around the NPC's it would fix a lot. In a bs you can tank a lot of damage, but a loot thief that get to close would get toasted most likely.
Loot thiefs is a risk free thing as it stands. They hide in NPC corps's to take adventage of the protection it gives them. They are invulnarable (or how you spell it :p) from NPC's or players (unless the player want to lose his ship and take a security hit atempting to do something about it, which just result in the loot thief end up make fun of your feeble atempt).
You could always ask some corp mate or a friend to tag along to pick up the loot as you do the killing, however not everyone got someone they trust at hands, and ask some random in local is just the same as invite some loot thief.
Though, CCP approve of corp theft, ore stealing and other criminal deeds players got a hard time to police themselfs, don't expect them to do anything about loot thiefs either.

Do missions in 0.4 and below. I still wait for a ninja to show up so i can blow up his ass but for some strange reason none show up.

Indeed, do the mission in low sec space. You'll get more LPs that way too. I can't imagine why anyone runs missions in space higher than 0.3 security...

Those of you that say go do missions in low security and just pod them when they steal.
That all fine and dandy but........
if you guys ever ran any missions in the first place or knew anything about this particular mission.
It takes place at a gate. And what happens when you shoot people at a gate in low security empire.
UMMMM sentry fire anyone.
I guess I'm the only one that finds it funny that non mission runners give the best advice where and how to do them.

True, but if you are doing lvl 4 missions in .4 and below, I am sure you can tank the two sentry guns for the few moments it takes to blow up someone stealing your cans.

what, tank the sentry guns for the rest of the mission while also takning the rats?
or do you mean to shoot the looters while we're in our Sigil looting the cans?

The only loot really worth it is the named at the end anyways, wait until that point then blow them up. Common sense would dictate to not blow them up and tank the sentry guns throughout the entire mission...

How come that I have yet to encounter a named npc (Kali Midez in my case) in the Blockade? I've done about a dozen Blockade missions so far and never got him to spawn :/

My corp mate had this same problem tonight, but not only did they steal some of his loot they started collecting the bounties by killing the BS's. Is that allowed?

tell that to my wallet and the 5 apocs, 4 ravens, 5 scorps, 5 geddons I've built and sold since the release of lvl 4 missions at just a cost of a BPC's and some veldspar mining. As well as building my own raven and backup, alts apoc and backup, as well as the ship and backup for my mission partner and his alt.
All from recycling the loot that's not worth anything to you.
It's my lifeblood.

Yep.
you can shoot anything you want anyplace in eve.
nothing says you can't. If it's got a bounty take it. And all the mission log needs to know is if the ship was destroyed. Doesn't ask by whome.
Agreed it's not nice but oh well.

About what I not know....nice...For this specific missions and dealing with this specific circumstance, I would say not to worry about the loot on anything but the named mobs or battleships if you are worried about someone stealing your loot.
I am glad you are soo proficient at building ships...
I do typically loot everything with an alt as well, my comments are basically if you are worried about someone stealing your loot and you are going to blow them up. Good job on your comprehension of the topic though....

i didnt say this ;) and/or i dont meann eve lol
but if you play on dsl/cable go get 2nd pc on dialup and get 15 day free acct. i heard someone might have 6 of them accounts at any given time training for a fair sized hauler ship and i oops i mean they can use it to pick up loot. have them all spread out by few days each
2nd way buy up all the copies of the game in a city. i have 17 atm i paid 4.99 each for. use 1 account for a month close it, etc repeat rinse. currently looking at my neighboring city looking for copies. will buy in bulk for the right price ;) can you say 100 copies at 1.00 each
