Okay, I have trained Trade Connection to Level 5 for all the fat LP's. Which this seems to be working fine. I've noticed that I dont' get all the Time Item bonuses that I used to get. I'm curious on how the bonuses get calculated. Is it totally random, or does the system take in account the Cash Reward + LP bonus and then come up with the Time bonus? If this is correct do you think my LP's on steroids are inteferring with my Time bonus? I mostly get all cash Time bonus's now.
Not a total whine, just curious on how the system works, and if my theory is correct, or if anyone has noticed this by training the connections books.

As far as I know, they are all initially set at 45 minutes to complete. As people complete missions, that bonus time is set to an average.

Thank you for the reply, but I wasn't clear in my post I guess.
I'm interested in the Time bonus being Cash or Items on Level 4 or any mission for that matter.
I'm afraid that my LP bonus which is through the roof now is inteferring with the bonus being items in lieu of cash for the Time bonus.
Just curious.

AFAIK the bonus rewards are completely random. The only variable is the corp you work for which dictates what types of items you maye get if they offer items. But everyone offers cash so it's completely likely you'll get a bunch of cash rewards in a row before getting items again.

Corb, funnily enough, ive noticed the same thing as you.
Since i've trained military connections to lvl5, 95% of the bonus's have been cash rewards only. Think i had one mission out of about 15 that gave me like 12 bursts and the rest was isk bonus's.
It may just be coincidence ofc.

AhhhhHA!
I knew I wasn't totally crazy.
I work for three Level 4 agents under the same division, and I swear that before the skill I was up to my eyeballs in items and now I'm lucky to see one item in 10-15 missions.
Can a Mission Dev Guru comment on this? Does the increased LP reward from the connection skills effect your chances of receiving a cash bonus in lieu of an item bonus on the time reward?

The T2 bonus reward items are taken out of game, to aid the POS owners. These rewards are now replaced with ISK bonusses.
This was listed in the patchnotes and several postson this forum.

I could have sworn they were replaced by research skill books. Because before the components were taken out of the reward table I got 1 or 2 skillbooks out of 20 missions or something and now every 5 missions my agent forces 8 or 10 down my throat.
At least back in the days these skills books were worth something, now people are throwing them at each others heads to get rid of em.......

This agent doesn't give T2 items.
It gives the Green research things, skill books, and POS components. (Silos and Refineries) and sometimes lucrative fertilizer.
I'm talking items in general in lieu of the cash reward on time bonus. My main source of income was through these, and with 2mil per mission that takes 2 hours to haul doesn't pay the bills. When I thought I would get an item (station component) within 5-8 missions the haul was worth it to me.
If CCP has some formula that figures difficulty in mission + Cash Reward + LP bonus = Time bonus, then this is very unfair I think. I was lucky enough to get the book, and spend the time taking it to Level 5, and it works well. The bonus should give bonus to the LP, and not effect any of the original bonus or rewards.
Can a GM or Dev, or someone check this please, and comment.
