After i have typed my password....and the status bar has gone to about 85% the login screen just stops. After is says got roles got flags and so on...
The animation of space still moves so it is not frozen.
I can see that the number of people online is rising all the time....so im guessing that the server is up.
I was online before DT, and now after dt im not able to get in....anyone know what this is?

I'm afraid you need to file a 'stuck' petition. Have you tried logging into the game with other characters?
(ha alts are useful)

thats the problem....i cant get to the screen where i choose the character.
It stops just in the second before it is supposed to switch screens

In the wrong forum thats what it is 
no seriously m8, log a petition, CCP will sort you out post haste.. it will be something trivial.

Menu bar on the left, under the Eve Support section, select "Ask a Question".

At the login screen of eve ( where you type in your username and password), if you look at the right there is a button 'Support'. There you can go for any help you need.
If that does not work then you on the left side of the website you'll find EVE Support, there you can click on 'Ask a Question' and get help through there.
I hope it gets solved soon.
