2. This option is just bring back the system scanner mod for the POS and allow it to scan out cloaked vessels.
as far as the whole, local vs no local vs delayed local etc etc.. its just a dead horse.. While alot of us wouldnt mind - most of eve would rage out thus making ccp back down.
Local has been apart of this game since launch.. to change it now is not really viable. Ccp gave people who like that an area, its called wormhole space.

Your "two cents" was to put your own idea forward 1st and then comment on the OP's? Interesting. As for "Local has been apart of this game since launch" you know what I've seen in almost 10 years of being a part of this: EVE evolves, EVE adapts, EVE overcomes, EVE is a living beast and its food is ideas.
This is the best thread I've seen on how to address the "cloaked pilots in Local" showing up in local.
A +1 for the OP for thinking of something that does NOT Nerf Cloaks but DOES Nerf WHINES. I like it, I really really like it! It makes Cov-Ops an active part of EVE and denies both parties free intelligence. None of that "Cloak requires Fuel Blocks = So does being in station" argument. And you'd know this because of your extensive time in game I take it? Did you even bother to read the Full OP and the subsequent replies or did you just "hot drop a troll line"?
As for "CCP will not..." I'm sorry that I failed to recognise your influence with CCP. These threads gather ideas, refine them, discuss them, add to them and they get read by GM's, CSM, Dev's etc. IF they're good and have plenty of discussion then they get discussed further with, well this is awkward, CCP! Like the recent 1363 Little Things list that the CSM whittled dow nto 100 things that we all were able to vote on.

So in essence give more Free Intel out from the Gate Logs? And this a good idea because?
Right now if I jump into a system that isn't a pipe\tunnel system with, oh I don't know say, 3 gates and 1 gate is camped the campers don't know which gate I just jumped in from. They have to guess. They know I'm there cos I'm visible in Local but with Gate Logs they'd know exactly which gate and at what time my session-change\cloak will drop.
