I usually use a lower SP alt to check out a corp before I join with a higher SP character because out of the 5% corps in eve that don't look like utmost crap, 90% are lying.
If i like it and think moving a higher SP alt in would help, I'll do that. Needless to say my main hasn't been in a corp in three years... |

i would say a corp that would judge you based solely on your corp history and give you no chance to prove or minimum explain yourself is no corp you want to be a part of.

No reason to stay with a corp that you don't enjoy and background checks are borderline worthless. Only really works for the obvious. Awoxing and/or spying is not difficult if you aren't a complete mongoloid. API is almost a formality, since most people only give it a cursory glance at most and its not hard to keep characters separate if you really want to. It's like carebear 0.0 corps that want pvpers, but won't accept "pirates". Any corp that will take you and make you want to stay, probably won't be the paranoid/don't understand game mechanics type.
Killboard/activity kind of go hand in hand and are worthwhile, but corp history, not so much. |

Hate being in my position, because most of my corp history has just been corps that ive created and closed >< The rest has been one with a friend that stoped playing (PWNT), one corp in s2n, and just me jumping around in RvB :(
... I also hate how PERKONE must flood my history >.> |

I would like you to take a look at a character named PopBlues420420. With that name, evekill full of corp ganks, and a corp history that is too long to load, he still manages to get into corps that are at least active enough to sport bling fit mission boats. If you are having a hard time finding corps with a few corp hops, you might want to look for other reasons people are not interested in bringing you in.

He also applies to corporation En Masse through the in-game corporation browser. When you apply to 100 corporations in a day at least one is bound to have a CEO who doesn't bother checking. |

Maybe you otta research corps more before joining?
This toon started in 07 and has a short list, 2 corps ive been in over 2 years and 1 corp over 1 year.
I dont get why ppl hop corp all the time, ofc its possible to get into a ****** corp but if you do that all the time you might reconsider how you pick ur corporation.

As a corp recruiter, I can say that I don't care how many corps you've been in...but I look for what corps they are, what alliances they've been in, when you were in them. Oh, and what corps your alts are in, because you had best believe I want that API key. Every time I post is Pardy time! :3 |

meh, if you're rejected for your corp history, then you probably wouldn't be happy in the corp anyway. I too have a relatively long corp history, after 10 years, but I've also seen folks with longer ones after a year or two.
Just point out the average corps per year, and if they still aren't interested in you, get over it and move on to another corp.
