Varesk,
You probably didnt mean to, but a couple of days ago, when you were doing an attempted lockdown on UQ9-3C, you did a lot to make my game better.
Most of it is that your alliance are people who I unironically call Elite PvP - and you are - are playing in our area, and providing us with both threats and targets.
You and your gang gave some pilots that, frankly, arent very good at PvP the chance to be heroes when we broke up your station camp by killing you and Stefan Kumansky in seperate bombing runs - yes, you were being fed particularly stupid space monkeys, but we were averaging a kill per bombing run, and you didnt want to stay and be a target.
My trainees were walking on air for about the next several days, because you are very very good, and we not only killed you and broke your camp, but also reduced the most effective response of your fleet to smacktalking in local (and thank you for the offer of the concussion bombs, by the way).
You also showed them both how ships could passively defend against a bombing run,by spreading out, by tactical use of bubbles and by constant maneuver, and the importance of precise timing and alignment on a bombing run when your flotilla was unsuccessful in killing any of our pilots in return (you got one into armour).
Im looking forward to more good fights with you and yours, and Im expecting that you and yours will quite rapidly help force us to become either less terrible at this game.
And if we catch you in any more mistakes, we're going to do our level best to kill you and yours again. |

Varesk,
We're allies with SMA - we will turn up to their fleets, and they'll turn up to ours.
And as we share intel channels, then we'll turn up to play with targets in their space, and they'll do the same thing with us.
So feel free to run some more lockdowns. Would you believe many of us were fearful Branch would be a PvP-free wasteland ?
Finally, regarding Elite anything, those who claim to be usually arent.
Hope to see you in space again soon. |

fakeedit: still looking for these claims that we made about being "elite pvp". fyi, you wont find them, those are ~words~ and ~propaganda!~ that the CFC use to make their alliances feel better about being slaughtered by irrelevant squatters.
Varesk,
I want to make this clear - I call you Elite PvP, because you are Elite. I dont use that phrase in the disparaging Mittens way, but to say that, at the moment, I personally regard Black Legion.as one of the two most dangerous PvP entities in the game, with the best fits and the highest skill pilots.
I'm not saying it's what you guys call yourself, as unlike some other groups I could name, you guys dont boast. You just kill things, very very well, and you appear to have a good time doing it. As far as I can tell, you also shouldnt have a need to gee yourself up about mean things SMA said (and a funny bit is the source of the soundcloud recording. Look at the url, and then find him in game).
So, yeah, you can pretend to be angry and sperg about Space Monkeys propaganda if you want, but personally, I'd prefer if you'd just continue being both threats and targets for us.
Who knows, after a bit, we might even all correctly discover the difference between *bridging* a Titan and *jumping* a Titan ... so, in short, by reputation Elo is a chill dude. Try and absorb some of that chill, and simply laugh at the silly monkeys trying to throw poo. |

It was good. We would have got three of them on the first run, but we made a tiny little mistake in the warpin that I now know to look for.
The second run was the one I was really proud of, as that happened after they knew bombers were definitely in the vicinity. |

They already did the other day. Formed up 530 to our 73 in EU tz. So not much happened there. 2/1 sure, 7/1 .. Lol time for bombers.
Yeah, it's been a good war for bombers so far.
Well. Mostly good.
The bombing run this morning by 401k was completely pro - they warped to zero on their own uncloaked interdictor who had a bubble out, decloaking and trapping themselves and were then destroyed.
This was in addition to random bomber losses.
Review this page - its just about all bombers.

For fairness, there was also a fail op last night when someone or other forgot to reload the electron bomb out of the launcher. Welp. |

Not seeing anything on that one. Yeah, it wont work for some reason, anyway it's your iteron V.
It was a nice SB trap on a gate - long point then roll the bomb out the door. My last Itty was a funnier loss - I'd remembered to unload it that time.
Some of us arent full-time warfighters and are trying to keep noobs in ships and so on ;)

Mr Varesk,
Feel free to ignore this advice, but I've generally found it's generally not a good idea to play the enemy's game.
Forming up multiple 250-person fleets and outnumbering the enemy sufficiently so they form up on a Titan and then, seeing your numbers, blueball you is exactly the style of warfare that makes enemies like Space Monkeys dangerous to space- or moon-holding entities.
For those of you who keep score at home, the CFC just took some of the recently-lost moons back.
Mr Varesk and his friends formed up on a Titan and declined to engage. There is some room for debate as to whether they tried to or not, but the actual fighting was mostly some minor bombing with unimportant losses on both sides.
In short, it was all fun and games, and then BL. reinforced a tech moon. |

Snotshot,
Are you seriously trying to force me to admit the ClusterFuck Coalition in a *Coalition* ?
In other news, the Goons have been bailed out of the Pandemic Legion headshot of VFK by Space Monkeys Alliance and Fidelis Constans. Will the Goons maintain their independance after this ? |

what happened to Branch Co?
BL. pressed the Sov Warfare button, and it became a Coalition op *shrug* Hotdrop carriers, gank ratters, lock down stations and its all good. But, as I said earlier, it stopped being fun and games once you reinforced a tech moon.
I just got back from another fleet where we reinforced towers and you guys - again - declined to engage, apart from a remarkably unsuccessful Pizza bombing attempt-ette.
This is rapidly becoming less of a good war for bombers.

controlling your game.
No, actually.
You were doing that a couple of weeks ago, when you were bouncing supercaps into and out of Branch, locking down stations and so on.
But its now clear you cant control timers in either EUTZ or USTZ.
AUTZ ? You probably can. Probably.
That said, you guys have made mistakes re-stronting towers as well, so I dont think you can guarantee anything coming out in AUTZ.
Frankly, rolling 20-30 person gangs and hotdropping ratting carriers in branch was you playing your game and controlling our game, and the rest of the CFC would have pointed and laughed as we were unable to deal with you.
But instead, you made the mistake of hitting the Sov Warfare button.
Losses like this - thats what you guys are supposed to be doing to the Branch residents. FFS, theres a Space Monkey and an Fcon on that killmail.

What do you think we're trying to get out of this campaign?
After you hit the 'Sov Warfar' button ? It looks like you're trying to get practice at Makalu-style not-undocking, combined with new and innovative techniques in bomber welps.
Your alliance and coalition are also seemingly getting practice at SMA-style ratting losses.
Are your guys watching local and the intel channels ? Maybe a couple of corp mails are in order ? I mean, on top of the 'no mining' order (shoot blues erry day) ... I mean, Venal is showing 20k NPC kills in your pipe. Thats some impressive carebearing.

Christopher AET wrote:And it only took the exact counter and double the numbers with no less than ten alliances. gg
Actually, they reshipped into what they fought in as we were moving there, and after we'd started moving from VFK and Tenal.
I guess they made decisions about fleet comps, but you'd need to ask Mr Varesk and Mr Grey - I personally dont have spies in their comms to tell you what they were thinking, let alone why they made the decisions they made.
Regarding numbers, the CFC use the numbers when we have the numbers. Its how we roll ... and note that Black Legion. are recruiting corps out of -A-, out of IRC and out of hisec as well, so it isnt as if we're the only ones who are trying to bringing appropriate numbers.
But for this battle, most of the victory was due to some incredibly pro bubbling by our Hero Dictors.
Of course, Black Legion. and friends had a fair amount of fail at the FC level as well. This loss, for example, was amazing.

Its a bomb truck. Which was uncloaked by our logistics.
What on earth was the bomb truck doing within 1 AU of our fleet ? |

Nahh, the last couple of days have seen a number of victories for the CFC - we've taken back the moons that were incorrectly stronted, and todays fight was technically a "POS Defense" (Op Success on that, by the way).
Todays fight was the one that our enemies undocked for ... "we formed up, so they didnt engage" isnt much of a report.
Im looking forward to them using the Loki fleet against us again, and possibly even committing caps.
This sure as heck beats shooting at rocks and rats, after all ;) |

Hell they even had to invent a corp riddled with spies letting all their secrets out. to defend the fact that they were getting their fleets ripped apart. and so had to go cap in hand to GOON and the rest of the CFC for help.
*laughs uproariously*
Go find the soundcloud of that speech.
Then look at the address you got it from.
Then cross-reference the name in that address with your handy list of known 401k Titan pilots.
See any similarities ?
