OK. I'm a bit confused. Your suppose to be encouraging people on the 14 day trial to buy the game or monthly sub. However, you limit access to 800 trial players. So I sit here and try to connect over and over again. All that does is build frustration and discourage me from playing your game. If I can't connect in the next 5 minutes I will be uninstalling the game and certainly will never "try" to play it again.
Thanks for letting me try to log in. Would have been nice to play and try it out.
P.S. If you are going to limit the game to 800 trial players. I suggest you limit the number of trial keys given out to... 800? That seems rather rudimentary but I'm no marketing genius.

I think you will find timezones are an issue here. If they limited trial accounts to 800 then only about half would be online at any one time (max).
This proves your point that you arent a marketing genius.
That being said, CCP does need to look at the current system. EVE is a very special game and I hope you get your shot at it.

I don't think so. Here is the context of the message when I try to log in.
Welcome to EVE Online ************
You are on a 14 day trial. Your account was
created 2005.06.05 meaning that you have 14
days left on your trial.
At any time you can login to the account
management page and change you trial account
to a paying account and continue playing your
character.
Currently there are 11402 players on the server
and of that 799 are trial accounts. The server is
configured to accept a maximum of 800 trial
accounts.
We need to limit the amount of concurrent trials
accounts on our servers.
We are sorry to inform you that you cannot enter
the world of EVE at this time. You can either wait
until the number of logged on trial accounts
reduces or login to account management to sign up
for a subscription to login straight away.

Take care. I did want a try at the game. It looks really interesting. However, since I can't play I'm going to pass on it.

Timezone or not is anoying having to continuously spam login screen for 10- 15 mins to get in every night you want to play, if i had`nt played eve b4 i would hit delete button, but as knew what id be missing just subscribed instead :D

I had that same login problem, twice. Guess what days they were? Saturday and Sunday. Every other day of the week I was the 500th to 600th trail acount to log on.
Patience is probably an attribute that should CCP should add to their characters, and it should be the first learning skill that everyone trains to lvl 4
