Hello fellow Capsuleers.
I feel the urge to let you know that The Mittaniseems to be out of the honest 3rd party business. This is a serious warning!
Today I wanted to buy a Leviathan from Xayder and hired The Mittani for secure transaction.
Everything seemed to be going ok, until I jumped into the system where the handover was supposed to happen. I was instantly shot by the seller. My shuttle ( and my pod) were destroyed.
The Mittani logged out the moment my pod was gone.
Now the ISK are gone, I have no Leviathan, and it seems The Mittani has decided to end the 3rd party services.
This is a true and sad story. Please be careful when dealing with the Mittani.

That's a shame. I was thinking about using The Mittani as my third party. I am disheartened to hear of this. Time to look elsewhere for someone more honourable to take my business. |

I'm sorry to hear about this. This is not how we conduct business in GSF. It angers me that our CEO have done this to you. I have spoken to the other officers and we have requested The Mittani steps down.
We will of course reimburse your loss fully, and and take steps so this never happens again. I am required by Corp policy to request that you send me a security deposit of 20% of the amount of ISK that you have lost in the transaction as an investigation fee. You will of course get the ISK back, along with your lost ISK at the end of the investigation.

I'm sure it was all a misunderstanding. I've no doubt it will all be cleared up quickly. The Mittani is a trusted 3rd-party escrow broker with hundreds of satisfied customers, and capsuleers should not feel deterred in securing his services for all their important transactions. |
