Raven Firestar Republic Military School Minmatar Republic 0	Posted - 2012.12.31 01:18:00 - [1] - Quote NEW GAME is here! in RENS Welcome to Hidden Treasure's, its a bookmark game. Few rules: * There is 20 secure container in space locked with password * In EVERY can is some faction item ( some great some not) * In Hidden Treasure's channel you have list of top rewards (plexes, ships, expensive items...) * Every can is on save spot which i have bookmarked * Every bookmark is in my contracts and list of contracts is in Hidden Treasure's channel or in my bio So short story is.... You buy some contract which have name 1-20, so you hit a number, when you buy contract you buy a bookmark of can that is on safe spot, you get your ship or pod, warp to can and put password which i will give you when you buy can. You open can and take it, if you are lucky you hit some of main rewards, if not you get some faction item. Game is simple, system with containers are near Rens, few jumps around, so its high sec Also there are a few cans that have a bookmark to a can in null sec. that has a Machariel Blueprint. the cans password is youwin. thats a first come first serve prize. So I flew to each bookmark, and to my surprise, there was a container at each of them. And Raven Firestar even provided the passwords, as stated in her Bio. Unfortunately, I got two Domination Explosive Deflection Fields, one in each can. Kind of bad luck I guess. Seems you need some luck to get the good stuff, but it's not as much of a scam as I first expected ;)

So, it's a fun gamble. Edit: Tried a second time, got a faction frigate! I feel I'm extremely lucky with these two though, how else could they keep this game up? It's a great gambling game, you should give it a try. The items and the contract costs are seemingly random, so you can try a pretty low contract if you're worried. But I assure you, it's not a scam, it's a gambling game, just like all of EvE!

(EM Armor, and Explosive Shield Mod) Even that Faction heavy nos is only 8mil or so. Few buyers would have to be staged, even noticed the Null sec treasure cans were that of a certain Alliance.. I think they missed that part of hiding the scam. Not saying it is, but look at the facts.

The cost of bookmarks was much higher this round and I spent nearly every isk I had on the cheapest container available. I am now the proud owner of a Dark Blood Cap Recharger which sells for a good deal more in my system than I paid for it. All in all a win.

Pulled the trigger on the cheapest bm offered and got a Cal Navy Sm Shield Extender. Perfectly useful, and worth 6 mill more than i paid for the bm. A win in my book.

It's a lottery. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I've purchased lots of cans and, yes, sometimes I lose some isk in total, but that's the fun of it. Overall, though, I've come out far ahead in value. For example, saw there was a new game, bought the cheapest can left, and won a T2 frig. Net "profit" about 5mil.

Yes some cans have cheap Faction loot in them and some have Expensive Faction loot and/or Ships. This was a T2 Frig round there was 2 T2 frigs of choice and other prizes such as 'Arquebus' Heavy Beam Laser 60mil or Shadow Serpentis Energized Adaptived Nano Membrane 20mil (32mil in hek) but you are right its like a lotto you take a chance in getting good Faction loot but i cant afford for everyone to win. Now if you would like to go buy all the prizes or donate the isk to run the game plus contract fees i will run a round where everyone will win. Until then I truely am sorry you did not do well in this round better luck next time OR just dont play if you dont like taking the chance. Thank you Raven Firestar

I ended up with a Dread Guristas 75mm Railgun and Dread Guristas Explosive Deflection Amplifier. Down about 50mil from sale value here in Rens. So I pick a completely random new bookmark, get a faction frig (Daredevil). Total cost for 3 bookmarks: approx. 86mil. Ship alone is worth about 80mil, so this round turned out all good.

Miner rounds and regular faction frig rounds. Now I want ideas from you. What should we do now seems like things have really started to slow down so I think it's time for the player to choose what our upcoming round needs to be.
