OK, kind of a newbie question here, but if the worst were to happen and you were podded with only a basic clone, would you lose all but 30,000 of your SP or a percentage of current SP?

I beleive it's 5% of the highest skill you have trained.
i.e. If most of your points are in spaceship command 5% of whatever has the most skill points in that tree.

5% of your most invested skill I think. ---------------------------

Well, that's a relief! To save time, I recently moved my clone to a station without Medical facilities (stupid, I know!) and after a thorough podding, had to make several jumps through low sec space thinking I was about to revert back to a 30,000 SP character!

I lost 256000 skillpoints on evasive maneuvring (was level 5) when I got podded without a clone, which is a lot more than 5%.

50% of the biggest invested skill is the norm. But you can get lucky and lose only 5%-10% of the biggest invested skill.

You lose 5% of your total, all concentrated into your top skill. You cannot lose more than one level of a skill. -- The best description of alliances, ever:

That doesn't really add up here. Maybe there's a maximum of 50% skillpoints you can lose?

Edited by: Karkazz on 13/06/2005 13:04:16 There is no fixed rule for skillpoint loss other than u will never lose more than a single level of any skill but losing 50% is the norm (most often your biggest invested skill). You can lose less but that isnt as frequent.
