Dunno what anyone else will think but the video seemed very "blocky" to me. Maybe you need to tweak your fraps settings. Never used it so im not sure but maybe some of the other movie makers here could help

Edited by: DaHeaVYFo on 11/06/2005 23:59:50 OMG the caldari chicks got nice ****
A very nice intro aswell! It was something different... Other then that, good camework, low quality on the fraps, and I missed the point If this was a recruitement video, it wasnt convincing enough Brave attempt, and like I said, very good camerawork!
Heavy.

You need a faster connection. As for the comments about the Caldari girl... this was not supposed to be soft ****! ((oh c'mon this isn't an offensive word! OK, rhymes with dawn.)) The constructive comments about the blocky footage is appreciated. That was not caused by the original settings but by the zooming and framing in the editing - have to work on that with new footage.

I loved the video. Nice to see something different than the same ol' fraps footage of in-game battles with background music we see over and over again. First video since Evolutions I have watched till the end.
Can't wait for the next one.
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. |

Thanks.
To have my meagre amateur effort mentioned in the same sentence as the masterful Evolutions trailor is high-praise indeed! (I have lost count how many times I have viewed it.)
In any case that film is in a class of its own and its high benchmark should not deter people from having a go at doing something a little more creative than just showing their FRAPs footage.

I've cleaned this thread up a bit, the Profanity filter is in place for a reason, don't bypass it.
Thanks

Well-spotted. I would be dishonest if I did not admit I was slightly influenced by the Enterprise intro.

That explains why I had the urge to turn the room lights off and start waving my lighter in air
