STK Scientific is looking for new members from all walks of life to join its current team of motivated and dedicated staff. As one of the four cornerstone corporations on which the Ascendant Frontier was created, STK dedicates itself to the creation of viable nation states in the deepest darkest reaches of space. STK accomodates all play styles, however we obviously have a strong focus on industry and work as a team to expand our large and growing production and scientific blueprint base.
We would like to encourage any player looking for a well rounded corp with a strong team ethic and goals to contact STK leadership with a view to applying. In addition to this I would add that STK Scientific has a successful track record with newer players. Many of our most established members started out as new players with STK, and now prosper both personally and as a member of the team.
Smaller corporations looking to merge are also invited to consider STK. We have a history of successful mergers from smaller corporations, having completed at least three such mergers in the last year.
The STK Scientific website has further information for those wishing to apply.
You can speak to members of the corporation directly by joining the in-game channel "STK Scientific".
Contacts: Persia (Australia) Salgurdar (Australia) Polymerase (UK) Bjoir Thorgrin (USA) Toshuno Driana (UK) Defa (Argentina) Temerlyn (CEO) (Australia) If you are interested, feel free to read on.
Structure
STK Scientific has no divisions, unlike other large corporations. Certain staff members are responsible for specific areas, however all members are encouraged (but not forced) to participate in a mix of corporation activities aimed to achieve our goals. The leadership of STK Scientific consists of a board of 9 directors that coordinate the different aspects of the organization, from mineral aquisition, production and sales, to fleet operations.
Our members operate in a variety of timezones. We have members logging onto Eve every day from a diverse range of locations; a strong Australian contingent, a recent influx of UK members, a large number of US based peeps, and a director based in Argentina. A playing population of between 10-20 members can generally be guaranteed at any one time, with a large proportion of the players in 0.0.
History
STK Scientific is a corp rich in history, with roots dating back to the very origins of Eve and early beta. We have been involved in the creation of three major alliances in the Eve world; we were part of the original group of corporations that formed the Curse Alliance, we were a founding member of the Xetic Federation, and are currently a senior partner corp within the Ascendant Frontier [ASCN].
Diplomatic Relationships
STK Scientific is a member of the Ascendant Frontier[ASCN], operating out of Impass and Feythabolis regions in 0.0 space. As a member of ASCN, we have a positive relationship with a number of major Eve groups including [5], Stain Empire, and many older Xetic Federation corporations.
Industry
The core of STK is our industrial base. STK has a massive collection of tech 1 BPOs, including all the battleship BPOs, and a fairly large collection of roughly 30 tech 2 BPOs. A key operational aspect of STK is the production and sale of tech 2 and tech 1 components for Ascendant Frontier and the empire market. Opportunities exist for members that may wish to get involved in production, resource management and acquisition, research and sales.
Fleet
Being members of ASCN, STK pilots are encouraged to participate in any and all ASCN fleet engagements. In addition, there are many people who do not wish to see ASCN succeed in bringing civilization to Impass and Feythabolis, so these regions see their share of raiders and pirates, providing our pilots with lots of opportunities for heart pounding combat.
We have in the past run training operations for pilots new to PvP. These sessions have had unanimous praise from members and we will be looking to conduct these again in the near future in order to be more active in this area.

I would just like to put my "2 cents" in as well. I'm one of the newer members of STK and I have to say I've found it a really rewarding home. Everyone has been helpful, and made the move from empire into 0.0 really easy (I was only a month old when I moved out here to 0.0 space).
STK offer an attractive enviroment for players. You can become involved in almost every aspect of the corp, from PvP action clearing 0.0 space of pirates alongside our fellow alliance members, to rat hunting and complex harvesting, and even mining everything in sight.
STK offer a good home to players old and new.

We're close to 50 odd tech 2 BPO's now.
Our tech 2 sales division alone mustered 1 billion isk a week and from that we have purchased more tech 2 BPO's. Most recent additions being the athaneum, ion EW module and Wolf BPO's
We have our POS in a great system and will aim to have an outpost there asap. As well as getting Freighter and Drednaught BPO's.
Laslty as a corp we actually dont have a large amount of players as some corps do yet we manage to keep it up there with the big boys. Thus its for that reason i know we have some of the best players this game has to offer within STK.
STK isn't for everyone but dont knock us back and give us a shot :)

friendly bump to a classy corp.
If you have never been to 0.0 and wondered what you are missing, this would be a very good place to find a home.
Good org and good people.
Best of luck in the recruitment.

On the weekend ascn had a big ole fight and a few STK were involved as well.
We fight with what we can but often get overshadowed by the bigger pvp wings of cls and ddc.
What i mean by this is. We have pvpers, we do fight.
we want more :)

Latest update is that ASCN has several empire wars now, so joining STK gets you into pvp immediately.
Non pvp types who have been around awhile can easily find refuge in 0.0 space
new guys can easily find refuge in one of our sub corps until they are ready to do what they desire.

seriously think they need to make a corp database instead of making us do these posts. With search options and such that allow a small blog for immediate display then a clicky for the full thing.
