In my roughly 1 year of playing this great game the events that occured this past weekend in and around the FAT system in Catch I just wanted to say holy mother of god  truely huuuge fleet battles, smashing through bubble blockades, owning, getting owned, fighting each other literally to the point of pure exaustion. THIS IS WHAT THIS GAME IS ALL ABOUT!!!
Never have I witnessed such carnage and determination and class in such a huuuuuge and pitch battle. (and yes I do consider the whole weekend as one big battle spanning 3 systems).
Coalition, you brought it this weekend no doubt about that. The determination and class and skill your organization possesses is truely formidable, it was an absolute pleasure and honor to fight against you.

Two very respectable groups fighting over something that neither one really needs. That means the only thing to say in a situation like that is good luck and have fun. It sounds like you are so props to all fo you. Will there be fraps or screenies or anything soon?

I wish I could have fraps'ed it, but man the lag was absolutely horrible during those bubble blockade battles so I'd be surprised if anyone did in fact fraps it. Sure would be a cool movie though

I frapes the first 30 secks when u jumped in, but like u said the lag was imenze so i didnt get much.

I saw FIX jump into a coallition warp bubble camp the other day, that was some big balls. Kudos, and kudos for the big c's respect in local. FIX truely are a finnished article when it comes to playing with honour.

i have some fraps of it, but the lag was too much with fraps on so i could only get snippets, theres a movie i just released in the video's section. the first scene is when we jumped in to 25s with all the coalition bubbles up. was scary stuff 
I have some other bits of attacking stations and various other engagements too, but again, only small snippets unfortunately..
Either way, I'm having fun, I hope you are

was thinking off frapsing the jumps in to the bubbels, but jumping in at 14 bubbels x2 times " the second it only was smaller amount of bubbels i belive, and i was sadly in for the first time" creats some heavy lagg,
Sadly been to big amount of losses on both sides becouse of lagg,, "can not warp out becouse ur lagged to ****, or timed out"
Other then that its been good fun. And since thebold has been holding the gangs the smack have been 0.

I wasnĘt there until the end after the blockades were broken. I canĘt believe I missed it.. but then I was walking along the beach with a girl so it was a good day. I heard the fights were great.
Fantastic planning on The Coalitions part so KUDOS to you. It must have taken a long time to set up 14 bubbles at 1 gate. ItĘs great to have these fleet battles. This is what you live for in eve. Nothing like having 160+ ships bashing it out over 3 systems. Man I wish I was thereą. Did I mention I was walking on the beach

LOL... fighting with fix has truly been a blast so far...took us a bit to muster a decent sized fleet so we could play...theres just so many of u ...kudos to our guys for execution ..the us players were up at like 7am their time to get **** rolling.....some pretty rough voices on ts
...and ofc kudos to fix for doin the jumping in....ofc i also missed it ...gf dragged me away at 2:30-3am uk time *****ing cos id been on straight since 15:00 uk
i just missed it by the sounds of it ..sucked but we back to good ol station ping pong (ASCN should remember what its like ;) )
keep it up guys ..we MUST be having some of the best fights in history of eve here

The Coalition gained during that weekend much respect in my eyes. Well planned and organised blockede. The fun battle was well worth the prize of loosing my battleship.

Respect to FIX. We had some awesome fights over the weekend, probably the best fleet fights I had in months.
Also the "no smack" in local is a god send, this is the way the game is ment to be played.

I'm just glad that I got the oppertunity to be part of it all.
There were great fight all weekend.
And for the frapps question I've gotten a fair bit of it on frapps. Just got to sort out all the clips :)
As someone above said, this is what the game is about. To bad about the lagg though

I was there from start to finish, and I haven't had that much fun in this game in a long time. Many people were involved in planning this battle and The Coalition executed perfectly. My god FIX you guys got balls! After you jumped in I was hearing primary targets for the next half hour or so non stop. Then we set it up again and here you guys came. I did manage to take a screen shot before and after the battle had died down for about 5 or 10 min in rr.

Sunday was amazing. It was one big battle, FAT-6P was the battlefield and we were all in the trenches for 20+ hours in some cases. I have to give our own commanders props for our organization and determination, the mere soldiers, like myself, were guided through every battle with excellent leadership. Unfortunately late on Sunday/early Monday we had only 5 BS pilots online and FIX got the station back. Was hoping to log back on Monday at lunch and see that "our flag was still there," but maybe next weekend.

Well, it WAS fun. Now it's devolved into nothing but ganking and running. It's a shame, the war was fun for the first week or two. Just now there's 81 in local, 28 in our gang, and after we warped in on FIX outnumbered they had already run before we could even lock one of them. We ask them in local why they will not fight us, and what it will take to get a decent scrap out of them, and the reply is "If you don't like our tactics, leave".
Come on guys, did you really come to FAT to do this? Warp out at the first sign of enemy ships?
I mean hell, I'm not here to smack with you, I'm only curious why you're taking this course of action.

Xelios prolly best to leave that type of stuff off the forums because it quickly disolves into a flame war. But I am kinda disapointed that after the great battles this past weekend that the situation in fat has turned into a ping pong battle and the winner will be whoever doesn't get bored first

I would argue that fleet combat is tactical and takes good leadership to conduct it effectively. Thankfully In Fix we have very capable Combat Officers meaning for the most part we do well in PvP.
Yes the tactic of warping out may frustrate you, but then again its 1/10 as frustrating as your fleets logging out in Querious whenever we chased ya.
But hey lets just stick to the fighting now, as Im enjoying it immensely.

erm... unfortunately that only lasted for about 10mins. The fights a little capture game atm, PING (for Fix) and PONG (for Coalition). Its a good game all this station swapping... altho one of Coalition's directors, Nick, admitted he didnt flush the toilet last time we captured it back... how heartless can you get :p
And all I can say to you putting down a chance to join us in Querious... Carebear :D hah. Aye tho I understand m8, shame really but maybe Ill see ya in Empire :)

what exactly did you expect when each party has like 2 covert ops per side, every square inch of the system bookmarked twice over and the intention of not losing a single ship to either side ?
FIX is going to minimise its losses as will The Coalition in a situation where you may have to spend 6+ hours shooting a station and 10+ hours recharging it, where each BS is worth its weight in gold.
I'm awfully sorry that the tactical finesses of station capturing across multiple time-zones, bores you.
You can always log off and play CS ofc

This thread was started in order to comment the bravery and honour of all pilots on both sides. And Kudos to both side admirals and captains for holding the fleet together and fighting till god knows what time.
Like it was said in the initial post...great fight, we enjoyed...end of story.

I don't think you do, my list is fairly long.Though i know you'll do whatever u can to minimize losses.As will FIX.i mean ffs people say good fights yet there is always a muppet smacking about. Come to fat sit for awhile if fix is there you WILL get a fight.

heya perp..
I dunno were we when we held a station in branch for 2 weeks defending it? Living life next to BOB at the time?Only giving it back(yes giving) it back when we wanted to move south.Always had great pvp base, just needed some cats to wake up and get more active and weed out the non-believers :).good to see u about. fly safe
