actually I found a php randomizer that was only two lines of code yesterday... I forget where I found it and didnt' save the file.
-Defined array of acceptable extentions
-next line opened random file in directory with extentions.
the one at the beginning of the post is overly complicated to do something so simple as randomly displaying pictures.

i used this code and it works great here, but on my forum (phpbb2) the [*img*]http://website.com/aspcode.asp[/*img*] bombs...
the .asp file resides on that server in the root and even calls to /aspcode.asp fails
i'm a nub sometimes, maybe i'm not thinking this thru correctly but seems to me it should work since it works for the eve forums
any ideas why this doesn't work? i reverted to a regular link to a jpg file until i can figure out what i'm doing wrong, the asp code is running here randomized so the code is good

I'm gonna rip this but I got a question.. is there a way to quicken the image change.. Say I got 10 images in the dir with it and I put 10 times this little snippet to a page and hit refresh, all the pics are one and same.. I'd prefer atleast 4 different pictures in that little time..
