its rare to find cheap bpos but it happens next time buy,
Ill pay 1.5 bill for the 150 II rail btw 
Btw if this was a long time ago ill give you another example, I remember seeing a silver sold for 75 mills its now worth 1.5 - 2 easy

ofc u saw those so called "bpo's" on escrow. they are up every week and are scams as 10% of the rest escrows that u can see on there =/

Before you pay for a BPO, just calculate how much unit you have to sell to get back your money...
Some ppl pay 100x the price what it realy worth, and they will never get even with that BPO...

Yea thats what I keep hearing the way Iam figuring it. if I sell in 4 regions with good traffic I should be able to make my money back in about 40-45 weeks. Thats if sales are slow

Magical thing about T2 BPOs is that they keep on growing in absolute ISK value...so there is no way to lose ISK on them unless you really overpay for some useless junk, especially 100x 
And if you get a BPO and you say "It will take me 1 year to get my money back", well, sell it and you will get it back immediately! That assumes the value of the BPO maintains itself in that period which is potentially not certain! Tech II BPO's inherrent value at the moment is due to high margins and reduced supply chains. Their capital value falls when that is broken and / or additional better tech BPO's become available and / or they fall out of favour in the market. In that situation the future profit flows do indeed become important.
I know of NO tech 2 bpos value that has ever fallen to a degree where s it noticable ever ingame...
The tech 2 market is nothing like rl stop the comparison or even tech 1!

Just because t2 bpo prices haven't fallen yet, it doesn't mean they never will. I think they could keep on rising yet for a while, especially if the isk inflation continues, but sooner or later there will be an end to it. |

Its all but certain given the risk variables you mentioned.
-High margin - yup
-Reduced supply chains - yup
- Better items - T2 is the current pinnacle. Considering not all T2 bpo's have been released yet it seems unliely that better items are around the corner.
