Is there any way to have chat invites not respond to the keyboard? All the time I am typing something and right as I am hitting return I have a chat request pop up and vanish again, I have no idea who from. |

A chat invite started by others would remain on your screen even if they cancel it, I think.
Check that you don't have a common letter bound to actions such as Open Channels Window, or Set Chat Channel Focus. |

I have same problem Maire sometimes, very annoying. Nothing im aware of to do about it so i'd be interested too.

I do, but when a thought is going through my head, it goes into the keyboard. So this is akin to having something happen in midsentence while talking that will be disrupted if you finish your sentence. I just can't help myself from not interrupting myself from saying that last word. |

No, there is no way to isolate those windows from responding to you pressing Enter. They automatically come to the fore and take focus away from your current activities. The devs would have to do some re-coding to change that. |

Quite simply a design flaw in the system and we have nothing we can do about it other than bug CCP about it and be really careful...

Know stupid behavior that doesn't seem to ever get changed. I couldn't agree more that it's annoying as hell happens all the time, also would love if we got the ability to minimize them back.

You have to realise that CCP is incapable of making a UI work and they also don't play their own game, because if they could and did they'd have solved that stupid bullshit problem eons ago. If you're typing a text and hit enter to send text and in the mean time you got a chat invite it'll just disappear, no warning, no way of figuring out who you just blunty denied. it's just gone.
I'd expect stuff like that in a beta, but for a game that's been out for 10 years it's a disgrace tbh.
