When launching build [3483] for the test server "Singularity" it goes to a black screen right after it displays the EVE splash screen. The black screen is the same size as the splash screen. Has anyone else had this issue, if so, how have you fixed it? I sent a bug report in but have not heard anything back yet.

I get black screened a lot... just keep bullying your client and it'll eventually work.

Sorry still no luck with just trying it again and again, it keeps happening. Redid the entire secondary testing folder... Made no difference. But I am not sure how I got to 3483 from 3482 - I did not ok an update, I can't get to that point.

its a typo in the boot.ini just edit it to 3482, thats what i did, i can login no prob.

Tried the Edit - no go. Still get the splash and then black screen. Can here the music, and that is about it.

Ok, I think I figured it out. But the only way to test my theory is to find an update patch from version 3366 [in use] to 3468, the first smaller patch for the test server listed on the test server patching page. My bet is this, that the full patch [3366->3482] is corrupting some of the files, and I intend to install the smaller ones, one at a time, like most people that had been testing for a while probably have. If anyone knows where the patch/es are, or an older list of test server patches is, please let me know.

Ok, tried the one by one patch from 3366 to the current, it still fails. So, I filed a bug report, will work through it that way. Something screwy is going on with the ServerLogs, getting a lot of STOP functions and exceptions. So I know something is not working even close to right. Hopefully a report will get it taken care of. Thanks for all the input.

Just for the record. 3492 did the trick for me. Finally I get to hear that new voice everyone is complaining about. Yay. ;)
