Agent Search Tool
Has the base 8680 agents from Oveur's original devblog release of data, and also has the recently updated agents from t20's data export. There are over 2000 more introduced in t20's data export, however from what I can see, only 1229 of those appear to be ingame and accessible currently. The remainder seem to have null corp IDs.
Currently missing feature(s): It only shows system and corp but does not show station - some time shortly I will update the tool so that you can click the agent name and it will display the full station name, and probably with a picture of the station in a style similar to the ingame station info thingy (but not in breach of copyright of course).
NPC Search Tool
This is coming shortly to the website. It works on my PC at home, just need to get it onto the website itself
Please leave any feedback here. Unless you're swearing at me. In which case, please send it to [email protected]

Well done btw

Here's a quick suggestion for an addition to the program that, I'm sure, would make it very popular;
Add a filter to allow you to search for agents with people-finding capabilities. This would be particularly useful for merc corps. It might also be an idea to list people-find prices for each search agent

Would also be nice to set a home base and then be able to have it show how many jumps the agents are away from this base that you set. I realize that this would be a much more detailed / bigger undertaking, just saying it would be nice 8)

Its relatively easy to do that, there's one in the mission resources sticky that can do it, but that's not what this tool is about. The tool was designed firstly for my needs and since I found it handy I thought I'd tell ppl about it. When I find an agent I want, I'll build a battleship in the station, take over some ammo, and then shuttle / inty between them, so knowing how many jumps away from a "home" system isn't of much use to me
I'd recommend the quite excellent Eve Map tool over at http://www.eve-i.com if you want a totally offline map browser / route maker. The agent list on that is currently outta date (which is why I did this website basically), but the system jumps are correct.

Is it possible to include the type of research the R&D agents do?

Edited by: Warm0nger on 03/08/2005 22:23:03 Can you add the region to the agent list? Oh, and maybe a corporation pulldown too. ---------------------

No, it has all of the traditional agents, but does not have the agents in space in the COSMOS constellations. I do have the agents in space names though.

No that's not in the database, sorry.

New Feature
I've added "Any Kill Mission Only" search under the Division drop down so you can select three kill mission divisions in one go. If someone can tell me which ones are 100% courier I'll add that option to the list also!

Thats a MySql error, they need to increase the max connections in mysql.ini ... will raise a support ticket and moan a bit

Its currently using about 400mb out of a 10gb allowance The site is back up again now, its just the server which is a bit flaky, but I'll be moving it onto a more reliable server before too long

Very useful. How do you use it to isolate Agents in Space (Not in COSMOS).

Agents in Space are not included in my search tool - there are some agents in the spreadsheet from CCP I used which aren't tied to a station but off the top of my head they did not include a solar system either.
Oh and a request - if anyone finds the tool is offline, please eve-mail me ingame and I'll fix it!

There's a couple of bugs:
1. Sorting by "Required Standing" tries to use a field that doesnt exists "standing" - fieldname is "reqStanding" 2. Showing all agents from one faction - then Order By by Solar System or Solar System Security - shows too few records - you will see agents ranging from 0.0 to 0.1 - and then it stops. It displays more than 100 records, about 120.
Great works so far - keep it up! :)

Thanks for the input!
1. This was indeed a bug I've now corrected 2. This was a planned feature, I didn't want to include any pagination in it at the time of creation and I wanted to cap the total records for a couple of reasons a) keeps page loading time down (not worried about transfer, the new server its going on will have a 750gb allowance heh) b) stops someone viewing the hard work (and it really was hard work!) I put into compiling the DB in one page, stealing it, and making it their own website or spreadsheet
I may include the option to choose 50, 100 or 150 records at some point however. I will be adding sorting ascending or descending for the sort order options.
Cheers
