I quit doing solo fights last year, when a rather successful 2 on 1 (me being the one) was ungraciously interrupted by one of the guys buddies once it became very clear I was in the process of killing them both.
These days, I fly in packs, just cuz I never feel I can trust others to fight honourably 1 vs. 1.

me in a tempest vs 2 apocs and a frig
that was alot of fun but meh i usually work in a small group makes things more interesting since its hard to find a good fight nowadays.
oh and i also lost the best officer armor repaier and siege launcher in G space danm loot percentages always drop the crap for me

I killed alone in megathron 3 enemy bs with only one cruiser support.
Was insane,those pilots werent good pvp but still im proud of it.
Also was one night in BNC we killed with around 4-6 frigs/inties a fleet of bs , around 6 of them.One of most fun nights in Eve.
Another one killed a moa in crow

my first ever kill was a hauler in my tristan. Took forever, i was abused in local for a good 20 minutes, and it took 2 months for my n00b ass to get my sec rating back to 0.0.
Lets say, it certainly wasnt worth the aggravation

The Dominix pilot was an afk miner but, damn it, it was still a kill!  
However, I did once kill a Thorax solo in a Crow and he definitely wasn't afk. Just stupid. Opened his can and found heavy drones (this was before drones got changed).

I went lemming against 4 BoB battleships in A2 with 3 freindly frigs in support and my phoon as the only BS. Managed to kill their tempest before they took me down, which I thought was pretty good. Not really solo though.
Solo, I killed a retribution and a taranis with my loot-hauling tier 1 Exequror. They were mildly ****ed.
Mindlles from FIX killed an AFK raven with a crow once. Think that's what Raith might have been refering too.

This one time, I killed a pod & stuff, it was really l33t, I was stroking "it" afterwards...
I have some kills, but don't recall too many 1v1 battles... Think I've been in 3 or 4 since beta, don't remember winning any, I don't save killmails (good or bad)
Most of my PVP so far has been in groups. If none of my corpmates are online, I log onto my industry character & play, I hate waiting around for a PVP fight, sometimes it takes too long, and is too boring.

I think if I was a solo player, I'd go out looking for 1v1 PVP battles more often, but as a member of a corp, I don't want to embarrass them too much, so I wait and fly with them...
