want to join a corp as an independant agent runner?
With lv4 missions becoming harder next patch and the talk about lv5 around the corner, what would a corp need to offer an agent runner to join them? What benefits would the corp have to offer you to join?
I am envisioning a corp where agent runners arent just simply members but an actual division of the corp with organization and structure. Recruiting for groups to work lv4/5 agents for particular races together, allowing them much faster returns overall.
Any ideas that you can think of would be GREATLY appreciated.

Come on people....I am sure you have some ideas. Some "if my corp had this system it'd be GREAT!" thoughts...something.

I was planning to set something like that up in the ... before time.
Alas never implemented it, I do find it's quite nice to have someone in a prophecy with 2 webifiers and a MWD in gank setup backing up the agent runner's tanked battleship, doesn't require many skillpoints and you're not going to make better ISK doing something else if you don't own a battleship of your own, even if all you get is half the bounty.
Naturally with this kind of system there would be people in fast industrials/destroyers picking up the loot cans.

I've got a few ideas for things I'd like to try with regard to L4 missions. Though I am able to solo them, I don't actually enjoy it so much, and want to play a bit more multi-player. Sooo have been training up for a Typhoon and lvl 4 in energy/shield emission and remote armour repair to fill a support role. With L4 leadership skills to I think it should make L4s a bit easier and playing with other players a little more fun.
It might benefit some corps, those with a small number of same time-zone agent runners to have some kind of system for helping each other out, by assigning perhaps a different role to different players (1x anti-frig, 1x tank, 1x gank, 1x support f.ex) to encourage teamwork. Only problem is that with the LP/reward system we have, players would rather do their own missions than someone elses, even if bounties are split between gangs. Perhaps CCP could implement a change whereby all members of a gang doing a mission together are rewarded with the same LPs and/or reward when it's completed(maybe split reward equally?), thereby encouraging team play instead of solo play?

With all the proposed changes to lv4 missions, perhaps something along the lines of a corp with organized agent runs would actually work.
Anymore suggestions by chance? Think about how tough lv4 missions 'should' be after patch...

all this sounds good but even with the changes next patch it shouldnt take more then 2-3 skilled bs pilots to do most missions, where this sounds like it would work better (dedicated dmg dealers, boosting ships, anti-frig, ammo supply/loot recovery) would be the 10/10 complex's.

There are no 10\10 compexes in empire and you will not probably get to 0.0 ones in gang of NPC corp players.

Complexes will of course be organized in a similar fashion. And that should be fun as hell as well.
But for agent missions, I was thinking that a group of say 4-5 people could run through all lv4 missions really quickly making your time there much more profitable per hour.
Also, if the 4-5 people are all on lv4 agent of the same faction, they can rotate missions so that each person gets his fair share of faction and LP. But you wouldn't have to have faction, you could be there just for the loot.
Perhaps, the person running the mission wouldn't be eligible for loot since he is getting the LP and agent reward?

Couple things to note. They will be changing things a bit so that sharing rewards will make ganging more feasible but that also poses problems if all points to missions are shared .....
most importantly is the sharing of standing increase across cross racial groups.
Ex: Our group has 2 amarrian runners, one gallente runner, and myself in khanid/caldari.
We group in lvl 4 khanid mostly and basically would totally ruin my gang mates standings with their racial equivallent lvl 3's. Which they run when not grouping 4's. Hopefully the can come up with a way to make sharing a bit optional and controled in such cross racial groups.
If not then your mission groups will have to be all on same page working for same corps/races or it won't work at all to group for missions.
That aside.
Yes currently groups of 4 or 5 are what your looking for to really really rip through them to maximize your efforts for time. 6 or 7 could also be neat if you got access. Logistic specific pilot. Or EW specific scorp to ruin all turret BS in spawns some other options available for sure.
If you got many laser BS in that group then you also have much cargo space available so you may not need a hauler at all which can also maximize your efforts being you'd have one more gankapoc available but you loose your hauler docker so then the apocs have to spend time docking and dumping. the idea for the hauler is so they do not need to spend any time docking.
It goes something like this for us.
1 raven, 2 gankapocs, hauler
me raven mission accepter, 1st jumper, 1st shooter
Gankapocs are true gankapocs ...... no repair systems at all. Lock load melt.
1. I accept mission(Deadspace for example sake) 2. we all warp to gate including hauler. 3. get busy and hauler stays outside jump till safe for him(NPC will attack haulers in dead space without anyone firing a shot) 4. blow everything up 5. if there is something to retrive(damsel) one the fastest ships retrieves it and gets it to me ASAP. 6. I dock with the huuker, err damsel. Complete mission while they still looting. 7. accept ne mission and undock. 8. warp back to gankapocs, and the BS's head for next mission no matter ho many cans left. Haulers job to get all that are left and apocs unload loot collect for hauler to dock it.
by time we finish next mission or stage, the hauler is ready to keep looting and follows.
Idea is to have the mission accepter heading to dock a soon as he can once objective is obtained or completed.
hauler docks when and if he catches up or is full.
Apocs never have to re-ammo or dock.
I spend more time undocking docking than shooting usually. It's my priority to keep the missions active to keep the apocs riping shots. Faster I can do that then the faster we get done and more missione we pull off.
Hope that helps for ya.
Groups is soooooo the way to go to really cash cow and pile it up.

I have been solo since the beginning.
I thought lev4 when introduced would bring "gangs" into focus. We see it didnt.
With new leadership skills and changes in missions I really want to see how it goes.
I have skills for Logistics and a nice boat. Groups/ corps should also be looking to utilise these avenues. (Of course some do ...but overall force is used not guile).
I see the mentioned "professions" as a avenue for solo mission runners who want to solo.
If LP is shared and standings and isk , I guess we will all pile in and gank missions to death in the same manner we gank em solo. Thats evolution.
All that keeps me from joining a corp is my own hangars. I like to have corp hangars all for me. Greedy yes, but true.
Give me divisions in personal hangars. All I ever wanted . Not cans you cant put cans in. Sorry I lost my plot.
I will watch this thread and see whats said ...Solo fo r2 years can make missons a real bore

we got two setups for the pocs tough call really. one uses beams one uses pulses each has it's place.
Beam poc.
8 mega beam 2 100mn2/2x tracking puter 2's/Pwnage Painter RCU2/PDU2/Basic CPU enhancer/ 3 or 4 Heat sink 2's pending your power capabilities and amarr BS lvl.
You may need to juggle some low slot stuff to get this to fit.
Beam poc has a couple interesting advantages. Obviously the range being a biggie. The dual tracking puters allows you to use multi freequency crystals up to about 70 KM or so. No wasted time crystal changing and you get most damage possible from start to finish.
that setup gets about a 5 second RoF and a damage mod of about 7.00.
Pulse Poc
8 mega pulse 2's Same mid slot layout. Basic CPU enhancer/6 heat sink 2's
this setup is pretty sick. approx 8.00 damage mod and a 3.7 sec RoF. The dual puters also give it a bit of flexability on the crystal ranges. Anything gets into multi range, Each poc paints same target. it litterally refines in space. Much more friendly on the cap use too.
The pocs really make it happen.

Well we had a corp that did same thinig UNITED MISION *****S 4tehw1n basivcally started with the advent of level 4s the corp split up when celestial horizons gave us a berth in 0.0 but we had several people in the corp channels from various corps and alliances some even still at war with each other. now the guys at war with each other agreed to not do missions together cause it would spoil things in the channels wars end friendships shouldnt because of wars. we did a lot of level 4s together and if some one needed help in general was a select group hand picked buy adhamon and shut up as well a s a few others out of the missions eve channel weeded out the malcontents and asshats cause everyones one of thoes to somebody and we still have a group that communicates and does what they can to help others out from that coer association and if your interested in forming a corp to do this myself and my hauler alt may be interested but if you want to step into an established group ask my self in game or mention my name to a feloow named shut up in game
