I know Amarr isn't very popular lately, but did you actually need to go back to 2003 to find somebody wanting to fly an Omen? ;)

Right Click, Refine.
Not joking. The Omen is the worst cruiser in the game. Its worse in the short range than the Moa, an explicitly long range cruiser. Its worse than the Maller, which has the dubious honor of not being the worst cruiser in the game because its not quite as bad as the Omen.
Refine it/sell it, build a prophecy or harbinger. With low skills, and a couple inertial stabalizers/nano-fibers, a prophecy or harbinger will be better in every concievable way than an Omen. Faster, more dps, more hit points, etc.

You know the funny part in this. A gank fitted omen almost reaches same dps as a gank fitted zealot. Sure omen is fitted with drones and missile too and doesnt get all dps from guns and has shorter range. But still, meh. give zealot more punch.

Then a taranis comes along and melts the omen in 10 seconds.

prolly best necro i have ever seen.
1. discover maller
2. realize maller does more dps, has better tank, easier fittings, etc.
3. realize maller still sucks hard.
4. cry yourself to sleep, tomorrow start training minmitar.
any questions?

Even the Amarr BCs aren't all that good though. If you want to fly Amarr the first thing you should do is hit yourself really hard in the nuts. After that flying amarr ships won't seem so bad. Then get yourself into a BS as soon as you can. Amarr BSs are about the only ships in the game that use lazers. If you don't like BSs then start training for Khanid ships.
