I recently got around to being able to try the current build on the test server (was plagued by the black screen bug) and find myself really hating alot of the changes I see being made, the biggest being the chat window. I know most people hate the font, I do as well. It looks really bad in most of the places its being used, but by far the most annoying part is the fact all text alignment has pretty much gone out the window. Instead of being aligned to the top of your picture, its at the bottom, text wraps UNDER your picture, and gets partially chopped off at the bottom of the window. Is it just me, or does anyone else hate how this is turning out? I'd really like to see some formatting come back to the chat window before its released. If this is already planned, great. If not, please for my sanity, format the text like it is on TQ!

A lot of the fonts in general seem to be screwed (3495). Please change back the fonts in the chat screens and item infos to how they were or at least allow the option to do so. MOTD's in particular look really screwed up, and normal chat and item descriptions just take up tonnes more room now. And I really think that the new functions on the bottom of each chat box is surplous to requirements and again takes up more screen space. I hope there will at least be the option adde to remove these features as I really see *no* need for them.

Of the two years + ive played EVE, this is the first change that has really anoyed me, the font is hard to read, the alignment when posting long sentinces is horrible, the lower case Gs, Ys, P, ect... dont show up well when your post is at the bottom "yep" looks like "ueo".... seems like the font changes are getting a bad review CCP, you might want to reconsider them.

The new font has a problem with certain characters too.
With a swedish keyboard its impossible to type anything requiring the AltGr button ( @ú$Ç{}[]\ ), especially the brackets are annoying not to be able to use in eve.
The other "special" characters like +Õ-õÍ÷ does work though...

I persume these problems are partly the cause of the patch setback by QA.

One would hope, but I wouldn't be surprised to still see the same thing after the patch is released.

I really hope not. If it does it will no doubt take a month or so to fix like some previous niggly little bugs have done (eg hanger item ordering etc etc.
