I've often thought about that myself. Perhaps it's something to do with the white man abusing Black people for centuries, that in our minds we somehow feel guilty for our ancestors disgraceful behaviour? Just a thought.
What I really hate is that new bill (in the UK) that essentially stops anyone saying anything negative about a religion. We're becoming as bad as Islamic states and losing freedom of speech. And yet a Muslim cleric can stand there and rant about how the West is evil, Islam is the one true faith and how everyone else is an infidel, etc.

I know my buddy hates all Indians and wants them dead. Really weird considering he is Indian himself  .
He also believes that everyone is naturally racist and insisted on calling me a racist to make his point, right when we walked past the Black Student Union in my dorm .

who's that ******* cleric guy here in the uk ? (not the imprisoned one) who lives in our country and hosts speeches advising people to kill all non muslims.. declare Jihad and to attack the western world ?
Im sorry but that man does not deserve to live... let alone be allowed to stay in our county... and he claims benefits from us taxpayers too.... go figure.

Probably because it's not PC (I hate that phrase so very, very much...). Like, women can be sexist to men and it's considered ok (see: The Simpsons, a million other shows) but men can't be sexist toward women or suddenly they're chauvinist pigs.
I think the main problem is that people get offended for other people far too much. So long as someone isn't actually outright insulting or harming other people, they should be free to their opinions. That, and they should grow some thicker skin.

After seeing a lil post of someone complaining in game has promted me to bring this up ....
While out drunk at the weekend like most lads we tend to prehaps not be the most polite of individuals (especially should the police drive past  )

Now among all the abuse from all of us the majority of abuse comeing from them was along the lines of "you white ****s" etc and a load of other abuse..
Now frankly we didn't care.. we thought it was quite fun.. wheren't up for a fight and carried on to the kebab shop. But its got me thinking ...
Why is it not socially acceptable for a white man to make ANY sort of racial comment... no matter how silly it may seem for fear of being prosecuted ? while we can be called any racial abuse under the sun ?
Now I wouldn't say im racist... I have black mates that ive known for years and were best of mates... But I must admit at times I do make racist jokes... but they are just that.. jokes.
If a white man went to the police to say he'd been victim of racial abuse or whatever it is called he would be laughed at or simply wouldn't have gone in the first place yet any seemingly harmless comment against the black community has the police coming down on you hard ?
I dont get it ??? Racism exhists in all races / countries yet the law only seems to protect 1 side..

Dude, this has been going on forever. To be honest, I just try not to put myself in a position for racism to occur.

Well, on the subject of making incitement to religious hatred a crime in order to prevent the spread of so called "Islamophobia", it'll be interested to see just how this will apply to the teachings of Islam itself.
Take this quote from the Quran on the subject of Christians:

there is very little that gets me going but this double standard bull**** really ****ses me off.
At work we have Indians, Eastern Europeans and us English. Eastern Europeans speak Russian to each other they get threatened with the sack "coz its racist" yet the Indians can talk in Indian all they like!

no, it wont prevent them from reading it, any more than you are prevented from going to a **** website and reading their propaganda.
Please note, im not comparing muslims with ****s, lol that'd look bad, just to say that no one will be banned from reading anything, no matter how inflammatory, unless it was perhaps exceptionally bad.
on another note i dont even believe what you quoted were excerpts from the Quran. Not in the slightest.
Positive Discrimination in the work place is the biggest load of crap in the world, a possible, yet hypothetical scenario, could be this
White man A has billions of degrees in firefighting and is a proven expert in being great at firefighting
Black man B has nothing except a history of dole queing expertise, but the fire fighters want to promote tolerance or some crap like that, so hire the unqualified nut.
covering it in the flowery term "Positive discrimination" does not change the fact that it is racism and it certainly isnt "Positive" to white man A.
If positive discrimination happened at my expense i'd take them to court and sue them for discrimination, calling it positive doesnt change the fact that its based on race and skin colour, therefore racist. therefore illegal. deal with it.
Edit: The bizarrely censored word is the NSDAP, you know, Germany 1933-45? I have no idea why it should be censored, but so long as those 2 explanations arnt censored then everythings ok

You'll find that it's more socially acceptable, and politically correct for the law to be on the side of the "minority group" in such an incident, rather than the innocent party.
Yes it's a crap way for people to look at it, but it happens all the time.
