Ellahan Vhektor Clann Fian Transmission Lost 4	Posted - 2013.01.13 14:11:00 - [1] - Quote hello gm cloudy awhile back i sent in a pettiton about an issue i am having. you responded and said basically that you haven't heard of the bug and want more info and i assumed it was well known and a fix would show up eventually but i forgot about my pettiton and it was closed due to a time out (my fault). it seems that right after the retribution launch a bug concerning hics came up. and to this day i am still having it and every one else iv talked to about it is having the same problem basically if your in a hic and you are using a cloak when you decloak and try to put up your bubble you get a msg saying you cant due to the cloaks sensor re calibration timer. the recal timer of a cloak has never affected the deploying of a warp disruption field untill now i thought it was on of those stealth nerfs u guys try to pull on us from time to time so i made my kinda snarky petition...sry bout that cause i lost a sweet kill due to this bug and was uber pissed then i made a bug rep and the B.H. attached it to a defect so i was quite sure this was now a know bug and a fix was coming soon tm.so i waited and patch after patch nothing in the patch notes. well i just saw ur response to my timed out petition and I said THAT'S IT WE NEED TO FIX THIS NAOW!!!!!!!!11 so here i am trying to get your attention on the forums hope it works if you need any info contact me here or even by eve mail would be best as i see that evry day hoping to get this bug squashed Vhek GòöGòùGòæGòæ GòöGòùGòæGòæGòª Gòª-áGòªGòªGòöGòù GòöGòù GòªGòöGòùGòöGòùGòöGòù GòæGòæGòáGòú GòÜGòùGòáGòúGòæ Gòæ-áGòæGòæGòÜGòù GòáGòú GòæGòáGòúGòáGòúGòáGò¥ GòÜGò¥GòæGòæ GòÜGò¥GòæGòæGò¬ Gòæ-áGò¬GòæGòÜGò¥ GòæGòæ GòæGòæGòÜGòæGòæGòæ

If my understanding is correct, you are saying a warp disruption field generator can't be activated immediately after decloaking. I haven't heard of such an issue and need your help to investigate with more information. Is this still an issue? Does any one else have the same problem as far as you know? What ship are you flying exactly? What fittings are you using? (I can check at the server side if your ship still has the same fittings. The ship type and its location will be enough for me to find it.) Could you please try to elaborate on how to reproduce the problem? Thank you. Sounded like it wasn't intended, and that it is actually a bug, and it was going to be investigated, so I left it at that. My broadsword gathers dust, and my alt in her devotor is nagging me about the decloak / bubble "bug".

The exception to the rule is when the GMs get flooded with a specific issue. Sadly this also goes for bug reports. It seems the bug fix order is largely influenced by number of bug reports about a certain issue or outcry on the forums. No mather how serious, loosing materials because a job install times out seems serious, it won't get fixed. Been waiting 2 years to get it attached to defect, and since retribution it's finally made a defect.
