Do people quit games everytime they lose? Be serious please. Supremacy are playing the bad guys and they do it well. If some people didn't blow up stuff, some other people building new ships and modules would run out of iskies, simple as that. I can't understand this industrialist VS fighter stuff, when one group actually needs the other.
To the carebears: It's never nice when you lose something, especially because EvE is such a time consuming game, but people dying and coming back up from their cloning vats is what makes a player-run economy function. If people never lose ships, they'll never buy new ones, you will be seeing battleships in the market for 500k,manufacturers won't have any customers, fighters won't have any targets or challenge, everybody will be bored to death and ccp will lose way more subscribers than it does now.
To the PvP'ers: Chill out, everyone's been a carebear at some point. Some people continue to do it,some choose a different carreer, but nobody was brought into this game with 10mil SP,flying ceptors and HAC's with tech2 guns and laying waste in his path. Don't tell me you have never done missions/mining/whatever-non-PvP,because that's what a new player can only do. Without even mentioning some combat experience, skill leveling in EvE is very time consuming and you can't actually be effective in any sort of combat without at least a week or so in skill training (assuming a decent frigate, small guns,MWD and some tackling gear). Even if someone started to PvP as soon as he was able to,did he log in only to change skills during that week? I doubt it,most people actually did some missions or (oh noes!) did some mining as well.
So lighten up everyone, play the game, take your chances, recoup your losses and have some fun,it's not a f*ing job after all,is it?

You know the sad fact of the matter is this make more isk then a corp mining opp would have. Its fun for a while, and earns a suprising amount of isk. Its not something we plan to make into a eve caree, and we'll move on and pick differant fights.

Originally by: Stormfront guess you lost something in one of these gankings. When this game drops to 5K, I might not even be playing it. Real life issues, graduation from college etc. So, when/if it does happen.. wont really be an earth shattering event.
typical griefer mentality. If it doesnt affect you and your little world of mental retardation, why care.
Blackdog, its true that industrialists live on other peoples loss, but that loss is usually sustained in battles or npc-missions. The fact of the matter is that these guys are killing the people that provide us with ships and items, WHILE they are providing us with ships and items.
Where would i rather have seen those 20 pieces of t2 1400's? In the hands of supremacy, destroyed or on the market?
Its fairly clear from their inept posts in this thread that supremacy arent the sharpest knives in the drawer so ill just stop belittling them now.

I was going to respond via eve mail, rather then in this thread, but I see your an alt...
People have been screaming DOOMSDAY predictions since the begining of the game over all sorts of PVP activity. Gate camps, jump in points, suicid kestrals, the list goes on and on. Turns out the game has grown at a healty rate since then.
Frankly I don't see the 10-20 (if that) people we killed in empire having a large effect on the game as a whole. We're not going to be banned because like it or we're not breaking any rules. And the overall subscription rate of eve isn't going to differ in any significant way because of a few haulers.
Tossing around personal insults and predicting dire consquenses for CCP if they don't bann our accounts isn't going to win you any arguments. I'm certain you'll come back with anouther post relating what I've said to some sort of griefer mentality, or perhaps questioning my age... Please continue to troll this thread, this will be my last post.
