Even though I am new to the game, I still don't think this character is worth 4b. Even after you finish training HAM V, the character would still need an additional 2 weeks training just to complete the Core Competency (Standard) certificate. which is one of the recommended certificates for the Tengu.
I'm not sure how long your auction will run, so I'll offer 3.5b or 4b bo. I won't pay more than 4b.

As you wish. I've gotten a lot more than 4 for the last few I've sold. The character has skills that count, not whatever random things go into a certificate.

Are you really bringing up certificates as an evaluation of a character's worth? You're so stupid! Any experienced player knows that those are worthless in any sort of skill planning.

No disrespect intended, but your "any experienced player knows" statement doesn't really apply to me as I am not an experienced player, a fact that I deliberately acknowledged in my post's preface. The majority of forum posts I've read on the subject suggest that lower level certificates are indeed useful for new players, such as myself. That, coupled with the fact that the Core Competency certificate is seemingly recommended for most ships, led me to believe that particular certificate might have a bit of relevance. After reading your comment and doing a quick bit of followup research, I now know that although lower level certificates may be useful to new players, they are not a relevant variable in character appraisal. For that knowledge, I offer you sincere thanks in spite of your unnecessary insult.
Temporarily ignorant of game mechanics in their entirety? Absolutely! Stupid? Not by a long shot... :)
Anyway, getting back on topic... I won't upbid the current offer, but I will match it at 4.5b. If for whatever reason the winning bidder decides that they do not want the character at the conclusion of the auction, the owner can contact me and i will purchase for 4.5b. |
