Greetings pod pilots and everyone else yet to be reclaimed,
Ground breaking news from Aegis Militia updating you on our campaigns in the Bleak Lands.
We would like to notify all pilots traveling in the Bleak Lands area that the Blood Inquisition pilots have been extorting isk off of members of the pod pilot community. It is our pledge to these pilots that our forces have been and will be making regular patrols throughout these areas. If you have been a victim of these acts of piracy, please contact us so we can co-ordinate relief efforts in your area.
Aegis Militia encourages all pilots to resist these extortionate practices, work with us to open up the Bleak Lands for free trading and mining for all. Of course, we cannot be everywhere at once and we cannot compensate you if you have submitted to these demands. If we work together against the Blood Raiders we can make the Bleak Lands a prosperous community for all. We hereby make it our pledge to keep the Bleak Lands open however and whenever we can.
Save your isk, save yourselves, do not work for the Blood Raiders or we will be forced to take measures to ensure your quick and permanent demise.
Message ends..

Afraid of our growing numbers and influence, perhaps?
Even as you speak, more and more sympathisers join the fold; some old and many new.
Yet even our own numbers do not represent the forces you intend to eradicate. Good luck and all that. ~~~~~ .. Wow, I might be enemies'ith Meb.. but, man, I still think'at she's pretty neet.

Wow. Fear? Hardly. Let me make it more plain:
It's a reality check, folks. When I found out that Blood Inquisition was extorting money from passers-by, I was more than a little amazed. Do you guys hold them up whilst docked or something? Anyway, the point is this: Blood Inquisition are in no position to ask money from anybody in the Bleak Lands, as the only time they're undocked is when the Aegis Militia is not present. Therefore, if you're being held at the point of a gun, get safe, give the Aegis Militia a call, and we'll see to it that the Blood Inquisition resume their safely docked positions, and you can leave the area quite free of charge.
As for encouraging folks not to join the Blood Inquisition? Just fair warning, really.

Very very interesting developments.
Seems my buisness with the Blood Raiders and their ilk is going to get very interesting. And don't hark on to me that this is Amarrian business as it's in "your" territory. My buisness is personal, so don't get in my way ---------------------------------

Ah, it's the old 'docked' nonsense argument rearing it's head again. Nothing I haven't heard before. Do you want me to start posting my kill mails to prove otherwise? Thought not, let's not go down that path.

Bo offense, Garreck, but you and I have been in war long enough to know that to undock in the middle of combat is like signing ones death warrent, no sooner do you undock are you ganked and bombarded by a hail of ships and fire you have no chance to respond to.
The remaining docked aurgument is both lame, and tactically pathectic. Aodha my have turned, but he is no coward. I for one can vouch for that. ---------------------------------

If you plan on fighting them with anything more than yourself, you'll see what Garreck's talking about. We routinely have solo pilots that keep three to four or more BI pilots docked over two systems. Just to entertain myself I did it for three hours in an executioner. _________________

It's no argument, and it's not my full blown tactical analysis of the Blood Inquisition threat. It's a simple fact.
You must understand: Blood Inquisition have apparently made certain innocent pilots flying through the area feel that they are a viable enough threat to warrant payment of fees. This announcement is merely to dispell such fears, and to invite local pilots to call on the Aegis Militia should they find themselves in such a position.
This is not a cry for Blood Inquisition to undock. They'll fight when and where they see fit, and they've caught a couple of our pilots flat footed. Fortunately, Aegis Militia have enough control of the Bleak Lands that Blood Inquisitions "when" and "where" are both terribly limited. They are certainly not in a position to make demands. Hopefully now more pilots will be aware of that fact.

And you thought yourself worthy of getting us to stop our duties and undock to chase you around? You really are a fool. (ooc: dont you ever think that people just might be afk opr unable to respond due to rl?)
The last 4 incursions of AM into our space while I was 'awake'. 3 were interceptors who obviously didn't want to fight and proceeded to waste our time then fly back to Amarr space. The other was 4 of your pilots blockading the Sahtogas station. 3 of them were promptly wasted (including a battleship) while the other managed to warp away.
If you are trying to fool the general public into coming into Blood Raider space because we are all docked then you have been spending too much time with Russo.

Those are pretty harsh words coming from someone taking no action. Try experiencing us firsthand in the Bleak Lands, then see what you'll call us.

victories are easy to speak off, it's the defeats that take some swallowing. So you killed a few ships, Russo. It's not like we don't read about ships being destroyed on these forums everyday. ---------------------------------

Victories are indeed easy to speak of when I am at war with you. It is my intent you will always have ship losses to read of on the forums. Thats my job after all.

Well I'm glad to see the usual banter is forthcoming. Soon you'll all understand that warfare can be honourable or harsh. Sometimes the most evil of either side can choose honour over sin.
Perhaps one day we'll all realise that what war we fight now is not a war that matters later. ~~~~~ .. Wow, I might be enemies'ith Meb.. but, man, I still think'at she's pretty neet.

What an odd thing to say. Only a psychopath fights a war, taking lives and risking his own, without hoping that his actions will have some meaning in the overall scheme of history.
*Garreck pauses, considering...*
You know, having said that, I guess it makes complete sense that a Blooder would utter such nonesense.
*Something catches his eye.*
