It had a very professional feel to it, and the quality was top. Very enjoyable indeed, it had lots of potential.

Best Eve video I've seen to date, sometimes I'm so busy doing my thing that I forget how stunning the game really is.

The last vid I tottaly geeked out over was Lowa's "Why we do it" promo for the MC. This one is easily the equal of that. There's no story, but there doesn't need to be. You did exactly what you said you wanted to do - 'This is EVE'.
Outstanding work! -

This is the best I have seen in a very long time.
As a movie it isn't that revelating as it has no story at all (but as you stated that wasn't the goal either).
But the footage and editing technique is probably the best I have ever seen! Really impressive, pure beauty! To me it really says - "this is why I play EVE".
Just one thing that I got hung up on
Originally by: Meridius Realistic PVP can't be recorded without the UI...
Check out Lowa's "Why We Do It", I believe all that non-UI shots in that video is made in PvP on TQ. It is tricky and much harder but it can be done.
Once again, very impressive work. Keep it up!

And CCP wtf why haven't you guys done any ad's in the UK, make this vid your next ad and give the guy something for his effort, god knows he deserves it.
An excellent piece of work :)

I was told about this movie, and downloaded/watched it before i read this post. Being a UT veteran I've seen the odd game-based movie once or twice and been a little bit spoiled so a few things sprang to mind...
A lack of story or any purpose to the movie, ie: seemed like a collection of random scenes thrown together. Some good scene transitions earlier on but became a bit more choppier later, as did the camera. A lack of credits , music listing and tools to make the movie was apparent though they're not essential just ppl like to know how you did it...
However after reading the post and the idea behind the movie, then it made a bit more sense. This would be an awesome promo vid for EVE, especially for people who have never played it, and the fact it was all in-game footage says sh1tloads about the game. At the start I wasn't sure if it was cgi or in-game. That's probably why I noticed the camera was a bit shakier later on.
Music was also great, and a very good choice. A lot of people do go for the same old music (Orff's Oh Fortuna, Prokofiev's Montagues & Capulets, Handel's Sarabande etc, etc) so spot on for that and a welcome change.
I'm a miserable git and hard to please (unless it's free beer) so when I say that was a damn fine effort for a 1st try and I'm looking fwd to the 2nd chapter then I mean it. Good work dude !

Sent shivers down my spine
Wicked vid, I can't see that failing to bring in new subscribers if it was packaged up and put on gaming websites as a promotional video. Hell, if I didn't already play Eve I would about 5 minutes after watching that!

Not all of them are pure PvP but quite a few of them are. (Well, all of them looking like PvP is PvP, the rest is missions/NPC) Its very hard (read: lucky) getting those shots, its not like you have 40 seconds to decide what camera angle you want to use... But Im starting to get the hang of it now and can get into a good battle shot fairly quick now. Doesnt mean its risk free, I too usually switch only when I know Im winning or its gonna be either him or me, do or die.
And yes, I cant find the link to my own movie...great.
Cheers, LOWA

O... M... F... G...
Traditionally, the ultimate compliment to any movie maker is to be told his work is to be kept on a viewer's hard drive.
Well, I think this one deserves to be on EVERYONE'S hard drives.
Simply outstanding.
