I know that many of you would love to shoot me IRL, so here is your chance...
The purpose of this thread is to determine if there would be any interest in the Eve community to come out and play paintball in my back yard.
The Situation:
I'm currently visiting my lil brothers in Maple Ridge British Columbia. We are a redneck hick family and live on a million dollar 10 acre ranch outside of town...i arrived a week ago and we've been drinking and building a private paintball field out in the back yard/forest ever since i landed. It's mostly built out of skids, a couple tree forts and 2 shacks. Totally redneck.
Travel and Accomodation:
Drive here, bring a tent if you want to camp out and make a weekend out of it. You will need to bring your own gun or buy 1 from the locals.
Rules:
Very few. You will sign a huge ugly waiver that disclaims us from everything, so drink your fill. If you are looking for alternative intoxicants - fine. No chemicals or hard drugs please. This is an underground event so bring your own security.
The Question:
Who wants to come play? Comments welcome in this thread.

I used to live out in Coquitlam, wish I still did. Have some good friends in Maple Ridge too.

I'd come.. just don't have a paintball gun... a friend has a few but he's in europe for 6 weeks.. so till he's back there is no way I could defend myself on that field.
How about a general Eve meeting arround Vancouver and lower mainland?

I'd definately be into a BC gathering but i think there aren't many Eve players out here :(
BTW - the paintball field rules and has a great view of the Golden Ears Mountain range.....Linkage to some pics
the occasional bear comes to swipe fruit off the pear tree, i saw 2 HUGE bucks (deer) walking down the road last week too. It was awsome

I play paintball but im more into speedball and such. So no thanks but nice idea I guess.
